charity has been an absolute saint, being the only one to properly notice that something isn’t right with belle and tom. after all that has happened to her. well done charity for saving belle 👏🏻
This is so heartbreaking and so emotional to watch. There are so many women out there have gone through and I still going through what Bell has gone through. It just stops and makes you think. This is a powerful storyline.
Hopefully this will help others in her situation. I’m a survivor myself of Domestic abuse but it’s not something that just goes away because they make you feel like you’re the one with the problem.
So relieved that Belle has finally told someone. Charity is definitely the right person as she was the first person to notice Belle’s change in behaviour and tried to get through to Belle. 🚩
This was such an amazing and beautiful scene between belle and charity. I'm so so happy that belle has finally opened up , hopefully in the next episode she comes out with more then we'll see what happens next
im so happy for her. the torture she had to endurem hopefully this be a a sign of support for all the women who have had to endure this or still are. remember there is always help. never suffer alone !!
This actually made me cry and feel soo much more bad for bele because of àll the abuse tom had been doing I already felt bad for her but this video when she told charity was heartbreaking and hope belle gets through all this suffering against tom
I was really looking forward to this episode and it did not disappoint. So so well done. Seeing Belle's different scenarios play out was just heartbreaking. There are no winners in domestic abuse. She is a shell of the woman she once was. Those scenes between her & Charity were beautifully written even though they were heartbreaking. This episode deserves an award.
Everything about this episode was incredible, the acting from both these two brought me to tears! Addition of the subtle soundtrack that accompanied that built up of tension and release at the end added to the whole emotion of the scene. Surely has to win the NTA this year.
Eden is such a brilliant actress! Such a powerful and phenomenal performance from both Eden and Emma! Happy Belle confided in Charity, it was so cute and emotional
I cried when Belle was telling Charity about the abuse she has endured from Tom. If I had a pound every time I have heard those words all I have done is love her
If Charity believes Belle, the whole village will believe Belle. I'm so glad that she's told Charity. I'm glad it was Charity she told because out of all the Dingles, she trusts Charity when she opens up to her. It is important that these women who are victims of abuse come forward in their own time. Thank God for Charity, cos Belle would have been broken if she hadn't have believed her. I hope Tom gets what's coming to him.
Thomas is nothing like his father - Thomas has become evidently worse than Carl himself. Because for all the bad stuff Carl has done, what Thomas has been doing to poor Belle was so torturous that it just about subverts any reasons behind his unsettling nature and Thomas ends up becoming less sympathetic if not more exponentially deplorable to the point of no redemption. Puls Carl had some redeeming qualities when it came to his negative impulses. For Thomas, however, he has practically destroyed all hopes for penance. All there is left in Thomas is a inhuman monster who disguises himself as a normal functioning human being and displays a penchant in asserting control and supremacy over everybody around him.
That was a beautiful scene. These 2 work so well together. Charity always looked out for bell and she took that on even more after lisa died. Stunning acting
This was so, so beautifully done. I know it's not real but it does happen in real life. God, I just love Charity in this scene. Validating everything Belle says and feels, and not being at all patronising or demeaning. She was the perfect person for Belle to go to, I can't wait to see the Dingle women rip Tom a new one.
I watched in tears because belle was telling my story it started with a slap, was sorry saidvit would never happen again then came the punches, again he cried promised to stop i stayed because i loved him then one night we had a argument he pushed me of a chair and started to kick me and he jumped on me causing internal bleeding in hospital i was given a emergancy hysterectomy to stop the bleeding i was 27 i should have got out,but i belived him when he told me it wouldnt happen again im happy now with someone new❤ 😢❤
It must have been the first time Belle has felt comfort when she told Charity. Probably a long road still to travel but for now let's let her have some piece. ❤
So happy that Belle trusted Charity with this! It was the best person to tell! Great acting and definitely award worthy! Very believable and had me crying for Belle! Charity was so great and understanding!
When someone comes to you asking for help, help them. It’s that simple, even if that means just giving them a shoulder to lean on and listening to them while they get everything off their chest.
Belle is an amazing actress, she deserves an award for a very disturbing story which she has captured effortlessly. She is just amazing & needs recognition for the role she portrays. X
I’m so proud of Belle for opening up to Charity about her domestic abuse by Tom ❤❤❤ but I do NOT appreciate Tom turning Amelia against her as Tom is making Amelia believe that Belle is a crazy fantasist 😡😡😡
FINALLY! 4yrs ago, I was in a manipulative relationship. I wouldn’t call it ‘abusive’, but even when I told him I am bisexual, and he still was homophobic about people. He’d make me feel bad about who I was, and I would feel anxious/scared about telling him about how I felt, because I was worried about how he’d react. Thankfully, I dumped him before it got worse. I always think that if I was still with him, the relationship would be abusive. I am so glad that I dumped him, when I did.
Happy to hear you had the strength to recognise the flags and escape. If people can’t accept us for who we are, assuming he knew ur sexuality from the start, then they are not for us. We need to let them free. Good for you!
I am glad you got out when you did. It took him breaking my arm to finally walk out for good. I have now been with the same man for 18 years who I trust 1 million % so I think if I can meet a great man anyone can but I didn’t trust easily at first it took me a couple of years before I introduced him to my children.
This is making me as a grown man almost well up in tears. There was always something off with Tom the minute he arrived in the show but I didn't think for one minute he would be this bad. It's going to be incredibly hard for Belle to be believed BC of her mental illness and Tom knows that pretty well, that's why he constantly got away with abusing Belle for so long.
Great acting. Best Iv seen in a soap for along time. Soo much stuff seems so fake and not realistic anymore. This felt so real I almost cried when Belle told Charity what she’s been going through. Incredible performance & acting. What an episode of a soap Iv seen in a long time. Don’t know Belles name as an actor but that girl deserves the award for the best performance in 2024 hands down. Big up to Toms actor also for playing the abusive husband aswell. He truly made us hate him.
This was such an emotional watch having been through this myself years ago!! Narcissistic abusers break you , if i hadn’t of got out when i did god knows where I’d be now 😢
You do all realise that this is a dream episode don't you?? Belle is imagining future scenarios if tom isn't stopped. Seeing those gives her the strength to tell her family.
Those online asking why didn’t she record him or take pictures you don’t get it abusers put you in state of fear make you believe it’s you’re fault, no one will believe . the asking why didn’t you have evidence or tell someone blaming victims of all gender s ages this is why they don’t come forward because they think they will be blamed must have done something. Emmerdale thank you ❤
If Eden doesn't win every best actress award at all tv award shows this year, something is wrong with the votes. She has done so amazingly with this story. And same with the actor who plays Tom, he took that character and made the entire emmerdale fan base hate him with a passion. That takes some kind of skill. Both brilliant
Eden needs to win the NTA award. This storyline has been brilliant. I'm glad she told Charity.
Yes she really does 100%, it was soo deep to watch that whole episode. Amazing acting from her.
I couldn’t of said it better myself

Charity is amazing.
Actually brilliant acting and so pleased Belle has finally told someone.
im so happy for her. the torture she had to endurem hopefully this be a a sign of support for all the women who have had to endure this or still are. remember there is always help. never suffer alone !!
The sad reality is these women don't see these shows.
@@jjo8277and these stories get put in general news because some people need to be aware of these stories being done.
Powerful scenes. I'm so glad Belle finally told Charity the truth 💔
Congrats ladies you played this with dignity, emotional, caring . You made me believe this was real
This actually made me cry and feel soo much more bad for bele because of àll the abuse tom had been doing I already felt bad for her but this video when she told charity was heartbreaking and hope belle gets through all this suffering against tom
Still is really moving stuff
I'm so glad to see her tell charity ☺️

Thank the Lord Belle is finally getting help! I do hope Emmerdale will help all those who need it so much!

Omg 😭 absolutely heartbreaking
So powerful. Well done to both actresses. ❤
Eden is such a brilliant actress! Such a powerful and phenomenal performance from both Eden and Emma! Happy Belle confided in Charity, it was so cute and emotional
I havent watched Emmerdale in years. But the storylines and actors have ALWAYS been top tier. i will get back into it again.
finallyyyy!! im actually crying at this clip
I cried when Belle was telling Charity about the abuse she has endured from Tom. If I had a pound every time I have heard those words all I have done is love her
If anyone else is going through a similar thing plz speak out don’t be afraid
The acting in tonight’s episode has been BRILLIANT ❤️

This was so beautifully filmed
One of the best pieces of TV, EVER. Shame its such a sad emotional topic. ❤

I hope Cain is biding his time before Tom gets his comeuppance Dingle way

Absolutely brilliant work. Hats off to both actresses.

The actors that play belle and Tom should win acting awards

Thank God Belle had eventually told Charity best person to tell she will fight her corner it won't be easy but the only way is up for Belle
Now Cain needs to know so he can sort him out!

Fantastic acting from belle and charity , brilliant episode 👍
Eden and Emma are carrying this show at the moment
Eden Taylor Draper what an absolute legend with such difficult scenes she played them so amazingly definitely deserved an NTA
She made the best choice in going to Charity 💯💖
Charity"s definitely one to confide when it comes to abuse
This is making me as a grown man almost well up in tears. There was always something off with Tom the minute he arrived in the show but I didn't think for one minute he would be this bad. That's very powerful message 😢
Eden deserves the NTA for this phenomenal performance! 👏🏻
Edens performance of this storyline has been amazing
So heartbreaking 💔
I can't believe how much Belle's appearance has changed throughout this whole storyline. 😢
The beginning of the end for this abuser . Charity won't let him away with what he's done.

Beautiful acting from Eden and Emma. Such a poignant scene. ❤
Incredible actors
Belle doesn't deserve what tom done to her so glad she gone to charity to tell her charity believes her
Carl has nothing to do with Tom being the way he is. He's been dead 12 years and Tom grew up in Saudi Arabia.
Amazing. Well done. .Bell
