Thank you for stopping by to check out this Supra recap. Stay tuned for the Miss Supranational recap that's coming soon! You'll be able to find it in the Supranational playlist! >>> tinyurl.com/yc793dts
He made us supra proud 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Love this ❤️
South Africa nailed and killed that question with his answer. He is so handsome and charming. He is a doctor, an accomplished man. Wow!
Proud South African right here!!!! Well done to our incredible King Fezile🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations!! 🇿🇦
This is the only review/recap that matters! Thank you Dani for your valuable feedbacks - I don't think anyone is more qualified to comment about these men other than you - being a former titleholders, a pageant judge, a pageant coach and a pageant host yourself. On top of all of that, you were in front, on and behind the stage with these men. I hope this (your review of Mister Supra final) will be a permanent fixture on this channel. Much love. 💕
@@ariainlondon I hope I can return next year to commentate again ☺️ I agree with you, being there behind the scenes in person was sooo different than watching online.
This guy is a complete package. Brilliant, gorgeous witty eloquent and above all purposeful ..humble yet confident
You're so right
As South Africans,we are taught public speaking from the young age all the way through university where learning is based on research and you got present in front of the others, you end up getting used to public speaking.
And our education system is incredible im still yet to understand why we are rated so low in the world.. ive travelled met different nationalities and i realy do believe we have one of the greatest education systems… but yeh you are correct public speaking is part of school assessments
I almost thought the last two be 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 I mean as soon as South Africa made top 5 I’m like it’s a wrap
The order of the 5 finalists was exactly as I predicted. They all did pretty well
Thank you Dani for this video! South Africa is forever proud of Dr Fez as he demonstrated how the black child can take up space in the pageant world!! 😊❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Very welcome 🫶🏼
He is incredible, i love Doctor Fez!
He really is!
Seems like you are the lucky charm for South Africa. Please attend Miss Universe this year. 😅
Hahaha I will try.
@DaniWalker you've been present for a lot of pageant history, Zozi, R'bonney, Sarah Rose and now, Felize🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
If the organization wants to have a fair and square judging, they should've provided a headphones for the final q & a! This may seem little thing to consider, but could affect the credibility of the results.
He is so beautiful and charming. I knew he was going to win since Supermodel segment
Yes and yes!!
Even if there is a headphone, South Africa will still win that round, he will still nail the answer to that question. In any international pageant, public speaking is one of South Africa's delegates' strengths. They are taught public speaking from elementary to university in their school. And we know all that. Zozibini, Demi Leigh, Lalela Miswani, Tamaryn Green, Fezile, and many more. South Africans really excel in public speaking/debate and Q&A segments. They are smart and intelligent.
Oh my gosh! I didn't know that about SA education. I've been trying to understand where the advantage derives.
@@DaniWalker Yes Dani, I heard about that during Miss Universe South Africa 2019 where Zozibini won. That's why you and all of us are impressed with them when it comes to Q&A. I can't blame you for wondering if there is something about SA contestants.
Just when one may have thought that NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱 had it after his final answer, SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 leveled it up beyond measure. There was something about him as his energy hits differently. The measure of South Africa's answer is above par one of the best final answers in pageant history (male or female). I literally jumped up and shouted "LET'S GO!!!!!" 🙏🏻👏🏽🤎. My heart is full of joy for him on his victory. And Dani, like yourself, I was a tad bit disappointed that Colombia 🇨🇴 didn't advance to TOP 5. But congratulations to the class of 2024 and our new Mr. Supranational 2024 - SOUTH AFRICA FEZILE MKHIZE 🥰 - Cheers!
Our thoughts echo one another!
Super Happy for South Africa, He’s so Fine lol. My Sentimental winner was Laos ❤You are their lucky charm Dani 😍😍😍
South Africa played it safe during the first few days, I think it's part of. His strategy to know when to peak 😊 that's why no one was really hyping him but knowing how well he did at Mister World, I knew that this guy is just waiting for the finals to really show his aces!
And I'm glad he gained momentum beginning prelims and I'm glad he won
For me during his Supra Chat performance, that’s when I saw in him the winner’s sash. It sealed the deal!!
Know when to peak works honestly.
Wow all those answers are eloquent and heartfelt. 💖 Amazing recap as usual, Dani. Only you makes us feel like we're watching it live. Yo da best! 💖💖💖
The Mister competition was surprisingly so much more entertaining and engaging than the Miss competition! Down to the performers and production, I thought the Misters killed it! Miss Supranational was a bit if a snoozefest this year… I didn’t understand their invites and pacing. Mr Supra was so dynamic - even the staging: Wow! 👏🏽👏🏽👑
Hi Dani well in South Africa we are a country of speakers. Lol even I did public speaking and debate in high school. As for men's pageants lol I have always grown up with men's pageants. Every high school had a Miss and a Mister. Lol and yes men do have pageants. I have friends who won Mr Benoni back in 2008 when we were in high school 😂😂😂
YAY‼️ now I’m waiting for miss supranational‼️
Stay tuned!
Love your analysis always. One candidate I would have liked to see in the top twenty is the contestant from Jamaica. Cote d’Ivoire was also missed from the top 10. Laos was my choice for the crown but I agree that South Africa was a deserving winner. The focus on education in India and South Africa produces great speakers from those countries.
Love the staging. I actually love the AI segment of the pageant. I also feel devastated for Sierra Leone not progressing into Top 5, he was incredible. Love the outfits from this competition!
I was so sad too! He was so sweet! 🫶🏼
Interesting fact about Mr Sierra Leone….he was originally set to compete for last year’s (2023) Mister Supranational and even participated in the Supra Chat, yet he was unable to attend for some reason (might have been visa issues). Things happen at the right time for a reason and for him 2024 was his time to shine, with both a Top Model final and Top 20 placements, as well as the continental band winner for Africa. Charismatic yet humble, And I agree with you that he should have placed higher. Great performance overall.
@daniwalker you absolutely right there's something about South Africans with on stage answers think of Zozi, Lalela, Ndavi and others because I follow you if am not mistaken I remember years back you were saying that you would advise your clients to watch Miss SA just to see how Miss SA contestants answer on stage questions... You, Alvin and Luis are great at what you are doing... Much love to you all.. You passionate about your work and you do it gracefully...
Yes!! I still have them watch SA. They're sooo great!
En 2019 fue primer finalista en Mister World, ahora es el ganador. Felicidades
Im LIVING for the look! Its serving Mariah Carey Your Mine (Eternal) 🧜♀️
@@mikebuluran1113 I looove that. This is my natural texture.
@@DaniWalker you should showcase it more often.
To his national to his Supranational competition he was clearly a winner. There's already an invisible sash on him.
Dani, in my personal opinion, you, Siera Bearchell, & The_Sovereign are the best at what y'all do. I really look forward to all recaps and commentary.
@@briandrake1972 thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@DaniWalker you're welcome. I truly mean what I say.💯💯💯😘😍💕💖💓💖💖💓💖❣️🥰🥰🥰👸👸👸👸👸
I expected South Africa to do well; he was the first runner-up at Mister World 2019. His final answer sealed his fate as a winner. Congratulations!
South Africa was truly a standout. So was Venezuela, Phillipines, Colombia, and Netherlands.
As a South African, I thank you.❤️
And I congratulate you!
SA was a pro story teller 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I was so looking forward to the swimwear round but I wS not happy about it, you're right everything went by so fast, the guys were wearing sashes so I really couldn't appreciate the physique round
But to my delight I was blown away with the next two Segments, the Top Gun and the Formal Wear!
For the top gun segment it gave me all the feels, it was amazing especially when Berlin's song Take My Breath Away was played, it literally took my breath away! I super loved that segment and then came the formal wear round, instead of the usual and kinda boring part, they made it fun and lively by dancing one by one, I just loved that idea! It was fresh and just so much fun, watching the finals at 3am Ph time, the last thing I want is a snooze fest number but the formal wear round gave us a fresh take and I super loved it!
Correction: Top 10 Formal Wear
Dani walker we really love you here in South Africa ,hopefully one day you would be and judge at Miss South Africa very soon ❤🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the great sharing! May I know how I can reach out to you to know how to participate/prepare for the competition?
Next to Mr. USA winning a while back, this young man is stunning.
@@squishybear5728 he is! Oh and I agree Keith was sooo handsome and so kind too!
Brandon 🇵🇭 ate the Top Gun and formal wear segments NGL.
Matheus 🇧🇷 feels pretty underrated for me.
I agree that Dr. Fez 🇿🇦 stood out since day 1 and it won't be surprising if he would win. But for me, I have seen him winning since the Top Gun portion, and the later portions were just icing on top.
The Q&A segment could've worked better and fairer if they had sound-proof headphones like in Miss Universe and gave them a few seconds of breather before the first guy spoke. I.e., read the question > tell them they would have 30 seconds to speak > give the last 4 finalists headphones > call Mr. Philippines and give him the mic and tell him the 30 seconds start.
Totally agree, we need headphones!! Matheus was sooo underrated. I loved him!
I think, if I'm not mistaken, SA is 1st runner in Mr. World 2019 where Mr. England won.
Well well well. Headphones should be used next year.
I AGREE WHY MISTER SUPRA DON'T HAVE HEADPHONES ITS NOT FAIR !!!!
@londrey Even if there were headphones, South Africa would have still won regardless. This was South Africa's title for this year and he got it.
FOR ME MY MISTER SUPRANATIONAL IS PHILIPPINES ✨🇵🇭👑☝🏻
Me too Philippines Should win the mister Supranational
Thanks for the recap video Dani. I truly agree that participants should be on headphones during the final q&a. Kinda upset with that. South Africa managed to deliver an outstanding answer as he got more time to think and construct his answer whereas Philippines just had less than a minute to think but he managed to gave a good answer! 👏
Even if there is a headphone, South Africa will still win that round, he will still nail the answer to that question. In any international pageant, public speaking is one of South Africa's delegates' strengths. They are taught public speaking from elementary to university in their school. And we know all that. Zozibini, Demi Leigh, Lalela Miswani, Tamaryn Green, Fezile, and more. South Africans really excel in public speaking/debate and q&a segments.
@@LifeOdysseyMotivation SA contestants are always give top notch performance in q&a. Undeniable facts!. I always look for their performances . And of course Mr. SA truly deserved. Its my opinion that all participants should be on headphone as its not fair for those who been called as the first person to answer compare to the last one. Last person will always have advantages. Cheers!
@@r.thamotharan5887 i agree with the headphone.
please make a video about your opinion about our reigning or the new MISS Supranational 2024, Harashta!
Tiny correction: the first black international male pageant winner was Kamal Ibrahim, Mr. World 2010 from Ireland.
Kamal is mixed though.
@ariainlondon Exactly! He is biracial so he doesn't necessarily qualify as the first black contestant.
@@conganangu4348 By that definition, Halle Berry would also have never been the first black best actress Oscar's winner.🤷🏻♂️
@@ariainlondon To be fair, the term used in the video was "the first man of color", which is technically not correct either. "Person of color" include all non-white, not just black.
@DaniWalker Mister Teen United States. Don't know if it's still in existence, but they've had several winners. First was from Hawaii.
SA killed it
Yessss!
You're the good luck charm of South Africa.
By the way, hoping you react to the coronation night of the 60th Bb. Pilipinas (still the most prestigious pageant in my country)
Ahhh excuse me. SUPRA just made Ms. Indonesia a Rupian Billionaire with that USD 50k ❤
He did a #ZOZI😊😊😊😊
Laos was my favorite before top 5 QnA
But Netherland and South Africa are standout for top 2
@DaniWalker, did you notice that South Africa was already shown to be the winner after Phillipines was 2nd runner-up. Check the bottom right of the screen. Let me know if you notice it too.
Since the judges do not announce, they give both the MCs/Hosts and Production team their decisions on the top three, so that the announcers can announce correctly and not do a 'Steve Harvey', and the TV crew to prepare visuals for the deaf community.
Even the shows like the Superbowl halftime show have a 10 sec lapse to prepare the live crew for any eventualities that may arise, part of the course of live broadcasting, nothing strange or rigged.
@tshepomogotsi I completely understand where you're coming from. I just happened to notice it after Phillipines was named 2RU. I mean WE all knew South Africa was the clear winner. It was just a mere observation. @MirandaYC noticed it also in her recap.
Hi Dani. What do you think about Mister Argentina ? He was one of my top favourites. And I was really disappointed when he didn't make the top 20.
Hello Dani
I am really not into Male Pageants Congrats to the winner anyways
Now the Miss Supranational I watched I really liked that Female Pageants Yes Big Time
Male Pageants Pass
Great Video
Still appreciate you stopping by!
And also they are both 2nd runner up before lalela in Ms. Universe 2021 and him at Mister World 2019 and they both Win the title after wow
a small correction: he is not the first man of colour to win men's pageant. Mr World 2010, from Ireland is of African descent (Father Nigerian, mom Italian)
Thank you!!
*First black Mr Supranational
You're South Africa's luckycharm
I wish I was not South African for 5 minutes just just experience how other people hear or receive our accent because I have heard a lot of people saying they love our accent 😂😂😂😂
I wish you could too!! It's elegant in my opinion. When I hear South Africans speak, I want to hear more!
Waiting for your binibining pilipinas review thanks
Miss Dani, I’m waiting for your BBP 60 reaction.
The Mr. Supranational type is alive and well. Tall, dark, and facial hair.
Tall??? Did you see the high heels South Africa wore all night?
@@stephenfletcher6801yes he is tall, some were taller than him but he is a tall man
Dani i love you reaction and review. Please do the review of Miss universe Thailand 2024 share you thoughts and reaction please 🥺 do it
Dominican Republic looked like Michael Jackson 😊
He's so pretty and I love his walk🔥
I way preferred Netherlands. Would have had Poland, Netherlands, Spain, Mexico, and South Africa in the top 5.
Is this the first commentary video you;ve posted for a male pageant? How do the two compare? For example, for the women, you always talk about their walks, and things they should and should not do. Same for the men?
No, I've created other episodes about Mister Supranational. It is similar in terms of how we compare. You pay attention to the contestants walk, confidence, speaking skills, wardrobe, etc.
@@DaniWalker I did some research and found that this has a history of almost as long as Miss, despite my never hearing about it before. Do you think this has more to do with economics and sponsorship or that men don't need the empowerment as much as women's pageants promote? Do you think this should change? (This might make a good final question at the Miss pageants).
We haven’t had a black mister supranational
Exactly! What an iconic moment!! 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
What an incredible first! ❤️
Binibining Pilipinas 2024 Recap Please
20 Eu vs 50 Eu why a big discrepancy?
It does seem like they dumb things down a bit for the Mr competition. And let’s be honest, as long as you’re tall with a beard you’ll win 🤷🏻♀️ but I’m still annoyed at the fact all the top 5 contestants get to hear each others answers. Which makes it extremely unfair and gives an advantage to whoever answers after the first contestant. It just so happened to be SA was the last to answer and had the most amount of time to think of a thorough response 🧐 it is what it is
@BossBrookeArmstrong Keep crying!! South Africa was meant to win from the beginning regardless of whether he was the first or last to answer. Fans like you guys are so toxic because when your fav doesn't win, you discredit the other Contestant who deserved it with multiple excuses. South Africa has this title, now deal with it.
@@conganangu4348 sweetheart you need to calm down. The only toxic fan here is you since you’re the one taking everything so seriously and personally. I’m talking about the Q&A segment being unfair. Regardless of who won. So relax
@@BossBrookeArmstrong whatevee helps you sleep at night ♥️
@@conganangu4348 I’m not the one losing sleep hun. If you get this mad at the truth you must have a real rough life. All I said was the truth
Now let's talk about supra chat, if you think Fez won because he had more time to think, with supra chat he had to answer at a go and still won it! This shows the calibre of a man he is! He still would have won even if they started with him!
South Africa looks very plain and ordinary. I won’t recognize him if he walks along the streets here in New York City. His answer as well was predictable. Netherlands was an odd beauty that made him more stood out. I find his answer to be controversial as well. It should had been Netherlands as the winner and Philippines as first runner up. Talking about handsomeness of the face!
Dr. Fezile isn't the first black male major pageant winner. This guy from Ireland won Mister World back in 2010. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamal_Ibrahim_(presenter)
