I love this. When I was young, I traveled alone. It was rather scary at times, this type of place would have helped to feel safer. Also, the price was very affordable, which surprised me. Even if my Granddaughter was traveling alone I'd have no worries, If I knew they were staying at safe places such as this. peace
What a cute hotel! Kyoto looks so beautiful and relaxing in the rain, with the way the lights catch on all the surfaces. The train station when there's not many people around definitely was a little creepy, though!

I had the gari situation before. I think i requested for an additional tamagoyaki. I thought they will add like 2-3 pieces of it. No, they added an entire container of it.

It's very nice. I'm a little worried that some ladies in Japan are having enough trouble with men that even with a private room they don't feel safe. I understand gender specific podhotals rooms. Is this a widespread problem in Japan?
This hotel seems to be looking for a sense of cleanliness rather than peace of mind. I think that the cleanliness that women like and the amenities that only women use are important.
This is adorable and the price is incredibly reasonable! After I turned out the lights, I'd open all the windows shades back up so I can see the city. I wish we had more female-only spaces in America, but with our culture right now, any man who says he's a woman can come in as well which rather negates the whole concept. Remember how everyone says that if they're opposite political party wins they're leaving the country? I wonder what is involved in moving to Japan, where they understand that there are only two genders, and one cannot be the other.

I used to work at different storehouses a while ago, and had to live in the hostels that the hiring companies gave me a place in. The first time it was a hostel where both men and women had to share the same public space and it was a horrible experience. Toilets were always dirty, someone was stealing food from the fridges, the smell was just terrible, as some men were smoking through the windows and leaving leftovers of their food in the kitchen, which also attracted a lot of cockroaches. There were plenty of unpleasant incidents, including multiple cases of sexual harassment, theft and even burglary. The second time the hostel was divided into two parts, each for different sex. It was as good as staying in hostel can be! Everything was clean and safe, no roaches, no thefts, no cigarette smoke and 100% no unwanted male attention! I was honestly shocked when my male coworker complained that their part of the hostel had basically the same issues as the hostel from my first job. Like, we had the same janitor, amount of people and other factors were equal, but they still lived much worse than women did. There won't be any conclusion about men and their habits, I just want to say that living in women-only spaces is really cool! You should absolutely try it if you can!
I I like her idea for women only. I would like to come there if I had a hotel to stay for me only I am a 73-year-old Senior and I would feel safe I was there I also like the pink crocs shoes that’s very nice for the ladies like your videos keep up the good work and you have beautiful scenery In Japan. Yessssss! At first I only expected the women only to be the only attraction to this hotel. But like aside from safety they also have the amenities for women like face steamer etc, that is just so amazing and convenient and the overall vibe of the hotel is really clean and cozy! Feels like a fancy spa tbh they really go above and beyond
I love this! If there was a place like this in the States people would lose their damn minds. I think it's wonderful to have a place where women traveling alone can feel completely comfortable and safe.
This is an update in 2025: What I really love about this is that Japan knows the difference between men and women, and does right to keep women safe. America just had to pass legislation protecting women's spaces. I wish with all my heart we had more of these on this side of the bond. Japan, thank you!

冒頭の四条烏丸駅からホテルまで、地下鉄を使ってますけど歩いていける距離です。地下まで登り降りして乗り換えするの面倒だーってひとは、15分程度だし歩いたほうが早いと思います。
いやまあ、真夏の京都市内だからものすごく暑いし。220円ならば判らなくもない。

月見屋様のおっしゃる通り四条からホテルのある三条までは四条通と川端通を歩いて行った方が速い。地下鉄で烏丸御池まで行って乗り換えて三条までは却って遠回り。当日雨やったみたいなんで、しゃあないかもしれへんけど。

Stayed in this hotel with my 2 other friends pre-covid. It was a pleasant stay and its amenities are pretty good too!
