During the reign of Henry VII - back in the 15th Century when this beautiful cottage was built:
Henry VII (Welsh: Harri Tudur; 28 January 1457 - 21 April 1509) was King of England and Lord of Ireland from his seizure of the crown on 22 August 1485 until his death in 1509.
He was the first monarch of the House of Tudor.

We totally agree - we have filmed over 3000 properties - this 15th Century Thatched Cottage is a real show stopper beautifully appointed and really cared for - the gardens are just amazing - this is why its been upgraded to a Gold Edition VT
Whoever the new owners are - they will be over the moon - 5 STARS all the way

they modernized it way to much. Not with amenities as in electrics, plumbing, heating, but in decor is to modern. I can tell some walls have been removed, kitchen is to modern for this style. Outside is beautiful and as soon as you open the front door im disappointed. Im from the USA but live in the UK for 7yrs and loved these old period houses and lived in one, but kept in keeping to its period.
I'm from the UK and SO agree with you. It actually causes me pain to see these beautiful interiors ripped out and replaced with modern ones - if you want that, why not buy a modern house? I've stopped watching channels where they bought new houses then ripped out original fireplaces, parquet floors etc and replaced it with modern tat.

Very nice historic house, but some of that decor is just awful. It's a shame.
