It's the perfect dynamic for a hero complex... But like fr .. it was like poetry watching him like in the bear trap still trying to yank the chain with the gun box from her-because it's like when you look at him he's so beautiful he's so handsome he's so buff but it's like all this is turning into .... It's like what was supposed to be your protector and your rock- is now a threat. It's like oh my God I'm definitely not strong enough to take this dude .... He was supposed to be using this strength against someone else for my protection... Very ironic

And this is why psychopaths can't have nice things!! The irony is that he'd already 'won' the girl. If he kept acting kind and loving to her, she would continue to love him. Bad sadly, that's not how crazy people's minds work. They want to POSESS what they 'love'. They want to own and control the other person.

@seren4740 they can't hide it for years. You get to know someone when you live together. Marriage is just a piece of paper. Before getting married I'd first live with someone for at least 3 years. People show their true selves when you live together. It is impossible to hide it for years. And I don't need to get married anyways. It is difficult if you live somewhere where getting married is essential before moving in together. Then you just have to hope for the best.

I saw this movie years ago. It's actually worth a watch because the acting is good and it is suspenseful because of the creepy factor to it regarding the husband. Both actors played their part well; looks like it would have been an easy film location and it played well for what the movie was; which is a nice subtle thriller.
