My buddy now owns that truck, I don't think it looks like that anymore because he went back to have it look like it did from 2001. That 359 has been with multiple owners from time to time hauling many different things. It's a joy that it is still around today!

There were 3 different 359s used in joyride 1 I wish I could get holt to one ill build it back to that Erie look black paint straight pipes 🤦🏾♂️ I love that truck and watching the movie right now glad I started driving trucks 4 years ago I'm 29 💪🏾
The restored 359 in this video was that used for crush the car in the tree (you can notice the bend hood) and for destroy the motel in the final scene, infact if you notice, when the truck demolish the wall, you can see the same bend hood, the left light was broken in this scene. For the others trucks, one was damage in the collision with the ice truck and the another one was destroyed in a fire on a deleted scene.
@BeamNG Real Life your right I also seen that deleted scene when they shot that tank and blew it up it lookin like I prolly just have to find me a cheap 359 and restore it to the movie spec 🤷🏽♂️👌🏾 either way I gotta end up with it 😅
Yup I hope the guy still has it also has a 3408 CAT motor in while filming and still does and fun fact why it was blowing white smoke like that in the movie was because the Jake Break was out on the fuel pump causing it to blow white smoke that's raw fuel out of the exhaust
@@mulletmayhem3812it was in Oregon and stayed in Colorado for a good amount after the film. Now it's here on the East Coast. It was pulling twin pup dump trailers. It's been sold 3 or 4 times already by the way.
