The twist: 'Creepy Luz' turned out to be real Luz jumpscaring you from a reflection the whole time. The other was a cinnamon roll.

I find it interesting that in the preview Real Luz looks dirty and beat up, but when it actually happened later in the episode, she wasn't. They just did it for dramatic effect. Successfully.

My thoughts are that the beginning is from V’s perspective, so a rough up luz is shown, but the next scene is from luz’s perspective and she doesn’t see how dirty she is
