We use the stock parts, Sting and Charge, for all 3 forms and compare the results against each Bey. Do you guys have a favourite Dragon base? Is it Ace, Grand or Rock?!

Maybe my glasses are bad, but i see Cho-Z Spriggan.
When Ace Dragon went against Buster Xcalibur, Xcalibur clicked twice.
Therefore, it activated it's Penta Saber, where all the points line up.
When this happens, a major contact point appears under the sword.
When the sword collided with Ace Dragon, It flew out of the stadium.
If there was no wall to get into Xcalibur's way, it would have been a draw.
But there was a wall in Xcalibur's way, so Xcalibur won.

technically yes but it only counts as a mode change if it has a different config using the same parts. Dragon's "mode changes" involve changing out parts so it does not count, as well as not being legal to attempt in tournaments

The reason why Dragon's burst rate seems different for each form is because the type of the Base has an effect on how tight the lock is
This is so you can't make a broken mix of a defence type base with super tight chip
I think the reason that each base bursts different, is because of recoils and contact points that makes the bey burst more. The tightness of the clicks only differ if you a have a different Gachi chip.
So if you put the “Dragon” chip on the “Ace, Rock, and Grand” base and stock combo (which in this case, “Sting and Charge”), the bey would have decently tight clicks.
But if you put The “Ashura” chip to the same base and combo, the bey would have slightly loose teeth.
So IF this is the reason, that’s pretty cool, because TT actually let you decide if you want to go with an unburstable combo for tournaments, or a slightly burstable combo for fun and if you want more bursts.

Nani? Well, they’re basically the same bey, just one part is different between the 3. It’s expected for them to be that even.
Nani? Don’t worry about either. I can kind of see what you’re talking about. Honestly though, I feel like Rock and Grand are at a bit of a disadvantage due to the stock combo being Attack Type parts.
Perhaps zephyr' would be a better driver, as it has aspects of all types
@Nani? Haha I'm not saying zephyr specifically, I'm saying something along the lines of zephyr, fusion, or unite. A new driver like that. Maybe even a driver with a weak spring inside so that layers with more downforce like ace would push it down and make the driver flat, where ones with less downforce like rock and grand would keep it at a sharp tip. A mode change, while cool, wouldn't be practical. Try switching Requiem from right attack to left defence. 2 mode changes takes awhile, and switching layer bases takes even longer, so why add more wasted time? Plus a driver relying on downforce would be way cooler.
Also by weak spring I mean another spring than the locking spring lol, like how reboot and nothing have an extra spring for their gimmicks
