The bosses I had at my first job literally protected employees like that. If that kind employee is somehow able to keep their job, it is because of at least one higher-up intervening, in which case, you are better off getting out of there before the ship finally sinks. Of course, getting out of there yourself before it happens is much easier said than done, especially these days, but you should always consider that option.

As an autistic person myself, I feel for the autistic lady in her story, people say they’re sympathetic for autistic people, but their actions say otherwise

That last story is proof that some people peak in high school and then never do anything else but that.

I have a coworker that has to know everything, about everyone. she is also rude and gossips about everyone. She used to be able to see my schedule and then I changed roles and she didn't have access to it anymore. She asked me what my new schedule was and I just said "whatever it needs to be" she did not like that. And for the last 2 years she has been trying to figure it out. Asks me, other coworkers, all of whom I've asked not to tell.

The autism one around 12:10 I think, felt like a mood. A recluse when not at work and someone not accepting that. Would certainly drive me up a wall.

i have a coworker that fits here. he keeps saying that i'm to scared to talk with women even when he saw me doing it 5min ago. for example: a female coworker/ friend saw me working next to him, came over to say hi and i went hey girl, what's up? we gave a friendly kiss/ hug and started talking how she was, how her operation went etc. she left and the coworker said you're to scared to talk with women. i'm standing there like dude, what? you just saw me hugging and talking to a woman but i'm to scared to talk with her?🤨he did this several times even when he saw me talking to several female friends/ coworkers or when i said that i went with my 2 bestie (my best female friends). for me, he's a sad pathetic and jealous person who tries to put me down.

@@360entertainment2 not that i know of. he claims that female coworker x/y/z came over or some random woman talks to him, even so far that the first they say is that they want to marry someone (which i find weird for a starter)

I think my biggest coworker from hell is either a supervisor or one of my fellow cashiers. The other cashier CONSTANTLY has snacks, doesn't wash his hands after the bathroom (I know because he dared to piss around the side of the building), and takes his shoes off at the register. Now, I might not be the hardest working employee. At least I don't do that shit.
The supervisor is the most annoying person to have because he doesn't even do his job. He hovers too close, follows people all day because he doesn't UNDERSTAND his job, and will tell us cashiers not to tell him how to do something because "he's the manager"
    Can't stand either of them

A thousand issues the weirdest but not the most serious (as we stopped her taking it higher by changing the subject) when we guessed the age of another woman in the building (at her invitation) and the guess was lower than our antagonists age. Yep I haven't missed anything out there that was all it took.

Here’s a list of what my hell coworker did
    1) I had to explain simple stuff over and over again every single day
    2) would spend way to much time on his phone than his actual job
    3) once got so distracted by his phone he almost crashed his telehandler into a boom life and despite a very loud horn blasting to alert him didn’t look up till the last second
    4) PULLED THE FIRE ALARM causing the evacuation of 2 factories (used to be 1 factory but part got bought by another company and the fire system was never separated) and when confronted said “I didn’t know it would do that” he also said “my shirt got caught on the handle when I came in the door” (the handle was 1.5 feet from the door and the fire department told me later that you have to really pull it to activate it) somehow kept his job
    5) spilled oil everywhere
What got him fired was he just left one day and no call no showed since then

Oh I get to tell this story again
There was this girl named A she was extremely mean she kept making fun of me cause I had dreads and they where short and I was a little bit insecure about my looks
She kept calling me sid the science kid I told her multiple times to please stop but she kept on calling me it much to my annoyance
She also yanked my earbuds out when I was on break my coworker where starring at her like she really did that and I said “normally I would hit someone for that but since you’re new on the job I’ll just let that slide “…. And than she gaslighted half my coworker making them think I was making up all the things I said about how I’m constantly uncomfortable with her and how she makes me feel like I don’t belong she even took half my work friends which drove me mad
And the final nail in the coffin was when she yelled and cussed me out for helping her like I was trying help her catch up and she got so close to my face yelling half the customer saw her and I was just standing there holding in anger I badly wanted to retaliate but that would’ve made me look like the villain
My manager saw it and basically just gave her a slap on the wrist for that and she gave the worst apology ever and I badly was gonna walk to HR and tell them what she’s been doing but that would’ve painted a target on my back that was 2019 when I started my first full time job
Thankfully she’s gone and it’s 2024 what make this worst is not because of A but half my coworkers saw this and not one of them stepped up not even the security lady like seriously
Stupid bystander effect as long as she’s far away from im fine
And sadly forgiveness is not my strongest suit because she caused a lot of mental harm and caused me to seriously hesitate trusting people at work

I had a coworker, let's call him D. D was morbidly obsese and had to weigh around 450-500 pounds. Every lunch break he'll eat a shit ton of candy and soda. I can't judge him too hard for this tho, I strongly suspected he has a food addiction, but I digress. Side note, we have a manager, Kyle, who happens to be Asian. Every time Kyle walks past D, and I cannot emphasize this enough, EVERY SINGLE TIME, D would put on a horrible Asian accent and say, "Ahh, Kyle-san! Konichiwa!" And then he'll bow as much as his belly will allow. Again, he does this every. Fucking. Time. I thought I would get used to it but I never did. Every time Kyle would just smile and nod but there's no way in hell that didn't drive him nuts.

Heh I got one that is verbally abusive. He looks for reasons to get on my case, and corners me, funny thing, I know exactly why he goes after me, it’s my gender, we both drive trucks, I’m a small woman, he’s quite fortunate I’m at work, I’ve seriously had to control myself to not hit him with my hammer

"All he had to do was not do substances."
The thing about addiction is that it's not that easy. It takes multiple attempts to get clean, nobody is able to just quit on the spot.
Addictive substances literally make you feel like you NEED them, that's why they're, y'know, addictive. Overcoming that takes a LOT of hard work.
Hopefully that guy eventually got the help he needed.
