I lived in Tornado alley when I was younger. This noise always scared the shit out of me because I knew what was coming.

I remember living in North Dakota one time. They blasted the sirens one night during a pretty heavy thunderstorm. And it scared the living shit out of me because for one, the lightning was intense, and it was hailing. Plus it was dark. Felt like a movie. Turns out a funnel cloud was nearby but nothing serious happened, couple damaged trees and some flat wheat but nothing else came of it.
I live in NE and IA and I remember the tornadoes feeling like a movie also luckily no one was hurt and was just on farm fields or whatever

Eventhough i live in central and haven’t expirenced many tornadoes we run the sirenes every now and then during late spring, summer, and early fall to make sure it still works
I lived in Fort Morgan and they would test them every Friday at noon

Grew up in tornado alley, this sound makes everyone’s blood run cold
What's creepy about where I live is we can't hear the sirens... It is so scary and a few days ago we were almost attack by a tornado. I got an alert not long after I got inside from checking the mail. I gaf an anxiety attack and could barely breathe. That was the most traumatic event in my lifetime
Happened to me so often in Louisville, KY almost every year sometime in June or July when the tornado warning hit the radios, TVs, and phones from the NWS
I accidentally played this when my headphones feel out the jack of my phone. I've never seen the house spring into action that quickly in my life

My friend said that she’s from a place where there’s tornadoes cause she’s new at my school, and she told me the alarm sound, and she didn’t know exactly how it went, but she knew this part, but she didn’t know how long it went, and so I searched it up, and now I know how it goes so I’m safe if I ever move to where there’s tornadoes but her mum wants her to move back to where there’s tornadoes I forgot where she used to live though

At 0310 my alarm went off for warning for Dade county. I got up and got dressed and Nick was on KY3 and I watched him and then switched to kolr10 and watched Tom & somebody was in the background. I prayed. The wind picked up. I rebuked the wind whatever it amounted to on my end. And it was pretty much over. I hope that's what other believers do. When I'm aware like I was 15 minutes ago I'll pray for people and their belongings. I still wonder how many people might have been saved in Joplin MO if they would have taken the warning seriously. I still talk to people who tell me they don't take warnings seriously.

When you go outside and hear it, it’ll be too loud and you might cover your ears. You know that can hurt your ears. But if you have ear moths, you’re lucky.

I think it is a mix of the Parkersburg Ambience and the Belpre ambience on the first Saturday of each month if there were fire in Belpre it would sound like Silent Hill

When I was 18 years old I used to prank my family and friends they believed in me but later on they found I was pranking one day I invited as we were having winter vacation my friends to stay in my house and party we enjoyed the party 2hr to 3hr by playing game and doing activities after one 1hr we had our dinner after that my family and friends went to sleep except me I was watching, tv at 3pm then I saw a tornado and hurricane warning in the news at the same time I ran to my family and friends. I was telling them that a tornado is coming they did not believed me but I ran from the house and went to uncle and aunty's house but before leaving I said "I am sorry for lying that day" that day I lost my family and friends..... "Oh Jesus why did I lied that day"
This noise and the look of the horn always gave me anxiety for some reason. Even looking at a tornedo horn gives me anxiety.
