My favorite thing about you is that your couch is your studio and I promise I mean that in the best way possible!! Thank you for showing us how to do this, it really is very helpful :)
Thank you for showing me how you do all of this. I've never seen any of it before. Although you say you aren't a professional, you are doing an excellent job. It's so interesting to me. 💕💕💕
As a cosmologist and nail tech for over 30 yrs and my salon being attached to my home, my hubby would come in from work and declare, this place smells like you’ve been doing nails! I would come back with,’ what you smell is money’ dear👍
I cannot even apply regular nail polish to my nails without it looking awful..all in the cuticles and uneven. I'm so impressed with your fine motor skills! PS I've never had my nails professionally done. All I do is clip them with a regular ol' nail clipper. You did amazing work and I always admire your nails in your crochet videos. :)
I tried giving myself a french mani on my natural nails once with the V-shaped tapes you can get from any discount or drugstore. It was somewhat of a mess. It turned out passable with a homemade look. I did it with powder blue and white and I kind of liked it. But I wouldn't do it again except for perhaps a very special occasion. Your idea of not doing it while the nails are on your hands is certainly the better way to go! Thanks for sharing.
It is interesting seeing your process on painting the press on. I never used them because I have thick hard nails that were a pain to have cut when I was a child because my grandma wasn't the most gentle human being and it would hurt when cutting down short because the curvature would flatten with the cutter before being cut (or most of the time snapped). Then since I was about 13 or 14 I use them long so I don't even remember how it is to not having long nails. AND then when one of them breaks it is almost like I lost the tip of my finger and it feels weird. Painting my nails is one of the very few things my mom actually taught me to do when I was a child (most of the stuff mothers would teach daughters I learnt from other people like my grandma, cousins, neighbors, teachers) so I do my own nails and only had a professional manicure once in my whole life just because I was curious to see how it would end up and never did it again because to be honest, I think I can do better myself. At some point back when I was working (I don't work anymore) my colleagues would all come Monday morning to check on what I did to my nails by the weekend because I used to use different color combinations, stickers, techniques none of them was used to see. My sister is totally addicted to nail art stuff so we have everything you can think of laying around and I play with that sometimes when I'm in the mood, it's been a while I don't paint my nails mostly because I spent some time dealing with paint (acrylics to paint miniatures) and then after that I just feel not motivated. Maybe I should paint later on today 🤔
Are the jelly white and milky white the same color? The link you left shows a jelly white, but when I look it up, it comes up as milky white. I absolutely love these nails you did and want to recreate them for myself, exactly how you have done them for yourself. I also love to watch your mystery videos while im cooking dinner for my family. This is my first time on this channel, and this was the first video i watched, and i absolutely loved it. P.s. I love the way nail salons smell, always have. 😊
The Half Moon on the cuticle part of your nail [ under & beyond which is The Matrix, meaning the mother of the nail, where the nail grows from ] is the lunula (LOON•you'•luh), your "cuticle", dead, dry skin fold, differs from the eponychium, at the base of the nail with the above two, which is living cells, and underneath the "free edge" of the nail [that you clean out] is your hyponichium - You can remember that part by thinking about when you wave at someone and say hi, your hyponichium is showing to them, as if to say "Hi, Ponikium!" BTW the "Loonyala" Can show if you have rare genetic disorders or bad kidneys and other health problems.
Very pretty. My granddaughter has gel mails done. I never knew how they were done. I've had my own long nails for 50+ years. I have to keep clear acrylic on them so I don't draw blood when I touch anyone. They're razor thin, but don't break. Those are very pretty and natural looking. I love your vintage crochet channel. This was fun ❤😍

Love the nails, I don't think I would have the patience to do them, I cheat and go and have them done 😂
I LOVE the smell of nail salons!
Nail salons aren’t good or bad to me. I do love a skunk though!

As a retired Pro, I'd say you're doing a pretty bang-up good job of it
Thank you!! :)

How do you put them on your nail? I’ve had acrylics before and they damaged my nails something fierce. I absolutely love acrylic nails, but…
Hi, in one for Corrina's early videos where she did her nails it did show how to apply them. Hope this helps.
Hi, here is the video where I show my full application process :) ua-cam.com/video/YrhDECbK4vY/v-deo.html
