@@xavierhouston4650 The Kengan cast has done a lot of the same things the Baki cast has done. In particular the crossover called out how Baki’s ability to counter in the instant between an opponent thinking and doing is essentially the same as Imai’s Zone. So the two casts have similar speeds and reflexes among their fastest characters. Also, a bunch of the Kengan characters can throw out punches or tackles that launch their opponents so hard they make craters in walls. That’s no different from a lot of the impacts in the Baki universe. So if both casts are dishing out and subsequently taking those kinds of hits then the strength and durability of the two groups is relatively comparable. Not to mention Sea Emperor Kaku is one of the greatest martial artists in the Baki cast (if not THE greatest) and his signature move is xiaoli which lets him relax his body to roll with the impact of attacks and diminish the damage. Sen Hatsumi did the same thing during his fight with Bando so the level of martial arts skill between the casts is identical as well.
Speed, strength, durability, and skill. In every way the Kengan cast has somebody who can hold their own. Do I believe that overall the Baki cast has done some more extreme feats? Yes. But nobody needed to be nerfed for the Kengan cast to have a believable crossover. It’s a fair fight as it is.

You have characters like waka who could rip apart custom titanium controllers on accident at the age of 8, and he shook an entire mountain in ashura with a basic punch. The shockway between his and julius's punch shook the entire stadium as well (in ashura). I'm omega everyone is currently getting a huge buff with the latest chapters.

@@jonasfadi8213 The Kengan cast has some pretty miraculous feats of strength and speed that are on par with what the Baki cast has done. Don't count them out.
Haruo for example is about 700 pounds yet can pull off a full aerial backflip easily. And he can throw that body weight around in a high speed tackle that sends opponents flying. He's heavier yet far more agile that any of the sumo wrestlers from the recent Baki manga arc. Plus those same opponents Haruo can send flying, like Akoya, can emerge more or less unscathed from that 700 pound tackle.
Imai's ability to use Zone also shows that he has reflexes comparable to Baki. During the father/son fight Baki knocked Yuujiro to the ground for a brief instance by capitalizing a counter on the small gap between a person thinking and doing an action. The Zone operates on almost the exact same principle.
Not to mention that Katsumi Orochi wishes he had arm whips like Bando. Bando's are admittedly slower but they're still too fast for ordinary eyes to see and he can use it in rapid succession unlike Katsumi's technique which destroys the arm after using it. And Sen Hatsumi withstood that very arm whip by relaxing his body to move with the impact which is just like the xiaoli of Sea Emperor Kaku who is one of the greatest martial artists of the Baki-verse.
And these are all pre-timeskip Kengan feats. It's not totally unbelievable that they would hold their own in a crossover.

​@@MereImitationin reference to the agility feat, that doesn't necessarily mean he'd win fights. Especially when outscaled by speed. About being unscathed by the tackle, I'd like to mention the cockroach dash tackle and that certain people can tank it. I believe that dash > your dash due to scaling
I think Zone is similar but different, I didn't think it operated physically between the eye and brain signals and I instead thought it had to do with focus. Maybe I'm wrong
Yeah bando has crazy joint motion and stuff, but can you really compare that to katsumi who's technique required him to invent NEW joints across his limbs? I mean the attack breaks the sound barrier.. I think you were better off mentioning the whip strike technique that some characters use..
You also can't compare sen hatsumi negging that attack to kaku kaioh, who negged a punch from yujiro, who's punch is stated to be as strong as the modern military force of an entire nation. I think you were better off mentioning the aiki that characters like shibukawa perform.
Don't get me wrong, it's not unbelievable that the kenganverse can hold their own, it's just that the undeniable truth is that the baki verse does outscale

B-list characters like Ali Jr and Retsu are canonically stronger than like every single "normal" athlete by a VERY wide margin, and Hanayama vs Ali Jr or Retsu would be a slaughter.

Ну, изменение силы это имхо можно простить, так как тут как-бы коллаб, и если одни просто вынесут других было бы не очень. Но мне лично сами бои не понравились. Это буквально типичные бои коллаба, где персы прям обязаны сверкнуть своими фишками, притом это очень неумело показано. Все 3 боя были фуфлыжными, из положительного только некоторые забавные взаимодействия персов вне боя. Типо Юлиуса и Оливера. Но сильнее меня напрягает анимация. Она тут хуже даже чем в баки. Уж лучше бы персов в 3д делали, как в Кенгане. Мб получилось бы подинамичнее, и поинтереснее.
