- Hey Everyone I had some interesting footage here just laying around on the editors table. So in this episode we are going to watch Yann's thought process on building an anchor and I even have some climbing clips at the end! Let me know what you think.

I meant venomous, I wasn’t going to eat the spider 🤣
Didn't eat the spider, unsubsribed

And I can listen to your conversations over and over again...
Hey guys, what you guys are doing is just great. Thanks.
Climbing next to the highway is always fun. There is a multiple pitch climb that starts basically under a highway bridge but then goes up and when you are at the overhang you are 10m away from the traffic and it’s so loud you’ll better use hearing protection. But the view is really cool and the drivers on the highway can see you climbing.
Ive seen some amazing climbing area next to the highway, and figured itd get shut down quick because of distracting drivers
I like Yann! This video was great. I love how autistic you are about safety lad, it’s very inspiring.
I’d like to learn that Monster Munter.
Psyched to see this was Low Exposure! I've been trying to lead it for months.
I’d like to see a friction hitch backing up that munter, while lowering and then rappelling.
Man, I wanted to see Yann climb that too!
Thanks man! I checked and sorry to say it was not on video =( Basically I did all the moves in isolation. I must have rested and needed Josh's counterweight at maybe 5 times... Would absolutely need to be stronger to link it I believe...
@@YannCamusBlissClimbing Well, good go Yann!
@@JoBianco thanks!!
Is 32 seconds the unofficial speed record on Laurel?
Great to see Yann south of the border!
Nice video, I really liked the redirect and Yann's fancy schmancy sling work. Also, what wall in the gunks is this?
Right on thanks, Low exposure is route name.
Uberfall
Good one !! I live near the gunks , how often do you climb or practice there ?
I try to head over as often as I can, the gunks is my stomping ground and closest trad location. 🤙🏻
Great video (but where's your helmet!). Also, I'd just finished leading Horseman and I can see my belayer in the background for the first half of the video!
🤣 yeah helmet came off so I can fit in the crack.
@@BetaClimbers yeah. Just saw that in another comment. There's a climb at Lake Louise, Canada, you need to take your helmet off for (third pitch I think) to do a head jam traverse!
@@petewhittington9399 yeah most squeeze chimneys are the same, you really gotta use your head 😂
That 5.11 trad line looks gnarly, any interest to go do it on gear??
I have done it in the past as a kid a few times easily protectable, with solid cam placement. Rad trad line for sure. 🤩
Which place is it?
Hugs from bohemian forest
Sorry for the language but I'm still learning.
I miss seeing your videos, it's been too long...hopefully you're on a climbing trip or something cool...
No helmet ?!

Mathematically, if a car would pull the tree down before breaking the sling, you should move the sling lower down on the tree until the tree is no longer the weak point. Also, how about sacrifice the longevity of the rope instead of that of the tree. You can get a new rope and the rock there is smooth anyway.
I agree especially sense that climbing area is so popular the tree might see to much action. Some thicker webbing with maybe some tree padding would be a nice touch. But the girth hitch slings aren’t going to move, so the wear is minimal… you also want to protect from swinging to the corner which must have been his thinking on the redirect. The point of the car comment is around about way of me saying “that’s not going anywhere”
Helmet gang?
Yes! But you can’t squeeze a helmet in that crack. 😅
@@BetaClimbers you're god damn right. 😎 Using PPE to assist with a full cranial head jam would be considered aid. No send.
✔️ *Promosm*
climbing fail spotted...no helmet 😝
😅
