A note, if we may: AuxTech is only on the toecap strap (same for all our bindings, and all Flow Hybrid straps). Otherwise thanks as always for your honest review.
Hope the season is going well for you, always checking out the videos your a great source of information. Hit my back on a heel side caught out for a week!
Worth mentioning that because the heelcup can't be adjusted you have to move the high-backed instead. Though when you do this the forward lean adjuster gets stuck and doesn't go all the way back. It's the reason I returned mine as didn't fit my larger boots
What color are those on the video? They look a little different than the petrol blue which they should be. And should they be ok for occasional pow and some carving? Great review as always btw..
Hey would you recommend these over the burton mission for a beginner getting his first set up? I weigh 200 lbs if that’s a factor and I have a Salomon sight 159
I went in store to buy a pair of these, but the highbacks were a lot softer than I expected. Nowhere near a Union STR or Union Force. I ended up buying the Nitro Team Pro, which I have loved. But to call these bindings stiff would be inaccurate. The materials and quality felt great though.
He didn't describe them as just stiff. Avran said stiffer side of all mountain freestyle, but no where near freeride stiffness. He puts serious effort into the community, for free, so at least you could listen to what he actually says since you choose to watch his video and comment. - He mentions the highback around the forward lean is stiff, not the entire upper, and that the baseplate large material footprint adds to a dead (possibly stiffer feeling) etc. I do agree that the Nitro PT is a better, and seriously underrated binding though. Good choice there! If someone wants a more free ride / carving / stiff version, I love the Amplid Mutant. Basically the Nitro Machine including the airbag added in the toes, but also adding new age molded straps closer resembling the Nidecker straps. Cheers.
@@junbug119 paired very well! I already had some older Rome bindings of similar stiffness, so it was kinda familiar feeling. The airbags feel great, and the minidisc helps with boardfeel. Definitely appreciate the Nitros for how well they charge, and the quality of the components. Not a huge park rider, but they felt amazing for jumps, and totally fine for basic rails
@@NamanShanishchara Thanks! Avran is the reason I bought the Dancehaul, too (and doing a lot of research) and was actually considering matching it with the Nitro Team Pros. You sold me on it now!
Hey, would you recommend to change from Ride Capo to them (I have 8 Flex board, rather experienced rider)? I also consider Union Force/Union Atlas, or maybe there is something else you would recommend within that price range?
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks for response. Well, mine are from 2015, they are not in a bad condition, but I would need to change pumps. Overall I like them very much so I would like to keep them, just wondering whether its better to replace pumps or just buy new bindings.
@@AngrySnowboarder looking forward to that review. Wouldn't be surprised if the (initial) Supermatics ride like the Kaon-X, looks like they engineered from that model`s parts. With some Flow stuff thrown in.
@@AngrySnowboarder would the Tracer be a great carving board for Holiday Valley or would you go with the Cafe Racer or say the Jones UME? I'm trying to narrow it down lol. I was thinking the two latter boards in case there's ever a "pow" day lol. But I'm digging the asym shape of the Tracer. I need more money so I can buy them all 😂

I've never used this one, but I've been happy with other Nidecker bindings.

“I rode this BINDING” i preferred when you would say board even when talking about bindings
Literally that's in 1 video.
You should do a vid of ur favorite set ups. Like what you choose to ride on a day ur not reviewing something
BAHAHAHAHA you serious? I rarely get days to ride my own stuff.

Would you care to explain where the forward lean adjuster gets stuck? I'm not quite sure I can follow.
These seem like a damn good deal @ $199.

They're petrol blue. Sure.
would this be a good binding for someone looking to improve in park and also go fast on groomers
Sure.
So Nidecker owns Flow and Rome, didn’t know about Rome. I like there stuff. For the price.
And Yes, Jones, and Now as well oh and Bataleon/Lobster/Switchback.

Sure.
How would you compare them to the Flow NX2-TM (same stiffness specs according to their website)?
More fore and aft drive in them just because of the solid heel cup.

@@bakamono7 lol their own website calls them stiff, I've got nothing against this channel. Avran was the reason i bought a Dancehaul. Cheers

@@AngrySnowboarder Sorry got lost in translation, I believe the proper term would be ankle buckles.
Ever get the supermatics?
They're sitting right here.
@@AngrySnowboarder gonna be putting that out soon? Fellow I know may benefit after his surgery if you find them decent?

Nice to see those reviewed! Did you mean Flow instead of Rome?
No.
Flow are also owned by Nidecker and borrow materials / tech from Rome too.
Thanks. Didn’t realize they had been bought

I'd get the Asym, far more versatility for that resort and will be fine if they get some Lake Effect pow days.
@@AngrySnowboarder thanks man!
looks like a 390 boss heel strap
Is the foot bed slightly canted?
Yes! 2.5 degrees
My first set of bindings were the Nidecker "Team" and they SUCKED!!!
the baseplate looks like the flows I want to replace... oh wait
SSSSSSOOOOOLLLLLLD!
😂
