Unfortunately not. Just iron and other magnetic metals.

@@FixitEasyDIY if i open my cutlery draw it goes bonkers but it won't detect anything from outside the draw which is only an inch of wood away, i suppose if you lost a ring or something that 'magnetic' you could probally attach the phone to a pole and find it but anything under the surface and i don't think it will be useful! very handy though if you have something your not sure is real gold or just plated steel!
only works with 'ferrous' metals such as steel i believe but if you wanted to check if any jewellery was gold you can hold it to the phone and if it picks up anything you know it's just plated steel so could be handy

i thought so at first but it works! the phone has a built in 'magnetometer' obviously not designed for this purpose but it does the trick! won't detect anything behind walls or behind a draw as advertised but i'm still quite impressed! 😂
