This is just the next chapter of The Seven crashing down from within..I noticed that almost every main character is facing issues from their past..Even Homelander has to "go back" before he finally snaps..If it seems too "on the nose" in how it resembles real events,that's because more and more people,groups,celebrities and politicians are doing more and more stupid sht in real life..Life is imitating art instead of the other way around.
For me the satire is so damn in your face its so damn eye rolling.

I know what scene they talking about lol. I had a co worker tell me , ay bro you don’t want to watch this scene. I had to look away. Then he tried to describe it to me , and I was like , oh naw 😂
I died out after the first season. Already knew what was gonna eventually happen after focusing more on the comics

It's kind of funny how on the nose the political stuff is.
They have to bc some of the audience and absolute idiots. Like they added the line about Butcher's wife being raped by Homelander bc the fanbase seriously thought it was consensual.
Honestly the show is starting to get old. The stakes don’t feel as high as they did in season 2 or 3. Erik Kripke just does gross stuff simply for shock value
The boys is supposed to be edgy.
It's a bit disappointing they're making Homelander the defacto Trump allegory. I prefer it when he's a bit more complex.
I personally think he can be and still is complex while being an allegory for Trump.
I’m starting to notice a trend with Korey. I love this dude don’t get it twisted. But I’ve seen a whole bunch of articles about this before he’s bringing this out. That The Boys are the thing that they’re making fun of. I really hope that he has his own opinions and he’s not going to articles & getting influenced by that.

It’s in the face political but it’s funny. It’s not like watching CNN or FOX news all day long. It just hints at it and then moves on to the drama or perversions.
