out of the millions of reaction channels on youtube this one is the most genuine. keep up the great work.. rip chester. :'(
Real men cry because they know the reality.
AMEN!
Your tears are our tears, sir. Can Chester find peace that he was searching on earth in heaven now.
"What would you say now, young Chester?" The second you said that dude I almost lost it.
xXsuckmyfender14Xx me too
I cry every time I hear chesters voice I can't even handle it
I COMPLETELY understand.
I literally found out 23 minutes after it was announced, even though I wasn't the biggest linkin park fan, it was truly shocking. Rock definitely lost a beautiful singer and musician.
Don't ever apologize for crying Bill, our tears can unite us as humans. I'm just sorry that Chester's demons were ultimately triumphant & now he's been added to the list of talented musicians who were lost too soon. May they all have found the peace they couldn't seem to ever find here.
So many people, my age, older, and tragically, younger, have left us of late. It's so sad. When ANYONE dies I feel it's an indictment of the entire human race- we are all we have and to let someone else down so badly that they DIE... We are all we have on this earth and if we don't look out for each other no one else will.
R.I.P. Chester Bennington. His One More Light is a really good one
You have a good soul the world needs more people like you
*blush* I thank you so very much for the very kind words.
Don’t feel bad to show you’re emotions man, we all miss him. We love you and Chester
DON'T EVER FEEL BAD FOR CRYING MAN.
Chester was and Linkin Park were instrumental in my sobriety. His death is heartbreaking and I've shed many tears for him. My period of mourning is over. It's now time to celebrate him and his music. Only his body is gone. His soul has moved on and he lives.
Fair warning, if this hit you that hard, don't listen to One More Light, or Heavy. The breakdown will be unimaginable. I don't cry much, but those two songs made me breakdown. Linkin Park was a huge part of my teenage years, Chester and Mike helped me in more ways then they will ever know. LPs music was the only thing that kept me sane living with an abusive father. RIP Chester.
Linkin Park's last album is such a call for help looking at it in hindsight. This world will damn well miss Chester :'(
Tanmang42 Most of Chesters lyrics across all albums were cries for help..😳
This song saved me from suicide. I own so much to Chester. This song makes me cry every single time I hear it
@Big Bosseseses thanks man you too
Big Bosseseses tf is wrong wit you?
He is such a good man
Chester had such a unique voice.
J Gaming screamed like a demon sang like an angel
I feel you, Thats how most of us reacted when we found out that he died. He was truly a legend.
This is the song that introduced me to Linkin Park. One of my friends played it in class for one of our assignments. The news about Chester hit me harder than the other celebrity deaths in recent months, mostly because, even though I can't say I was/am a big LP fan, songs like this one really spoke to me during my teens. People talk about Cobain and co. being the voices of a generation; Chester was definitely a voice of mine.
Jaja - I can definitely understand THAT feeling. It was and still is a HORRIBLE shock.
+NearlySeniorCitizen Yetagamer it was. I wish he could've gotten the help he needed.
Man i truly understand those tears 😞 R.I.P Chester
rest in peace cheaster
I usually don't break down and cry easily but kinda giving a warning if you watch 'one more light' by linkin park, don't get me wrong it's a great song but I get emotional when I hear the lyrics.
I am afraid to react to this one because i KNOW I will break down badly.
R.I.P. CHESTER😭❤
Sir you have all my respect. Not everybody shows real feelings on camera. I identify myself with What you have expressed. We need more people like you
"Indeed" I can't tell you how funny that was. Chester will be missed.
Crying watching you cry. this was so beautiful and wholesome
Thank you so very much for watching, enjoying, and commenting!
Chester was the voice of a generation. You can tell he put every ounce of effort into is music. It's so sad how the people with the most powerful minds go so fast. I think music saved for as long as it good. And that's one thing about music. When it hits u, u feel no pain.
i cant watch an old man cry, god damn
Never apologize for feeling out the emotion
I too had tears seeing Chester in this song ...he was THE voice I went back to and still go back to..
I miss Chester a lot, definitely the voice of my childhood. You should react to One More Light - Linkin Park, really impacting song
I cracked hard when you said "What would you say now, young Chester".
Crying at work now
You weren't the only one tearing up here, sir. Although I had branched off of listening to Linkin Park, they were such a huge influence for my love of alternative music. And Chester is so legendary, a person MANY people looked up to and respected. Especially for this new generation. Hes so talented an irreplaceable. My heart goes out to Chester's friends and family. Rest in peace, Chester.
💙 we're all here with you dude, Chester will always be with us in his music and in our hearts, RIP Chester.
i was born in 2005, around the time linkin park was growing hugely. My dad grew up listening to linkin park. So he got me into their music around my age of 4. He knew chester in person as well. I had a rough childhood with my parents. My dad was an addict, and before you knew it i was separated from my parents with never seeing my mom since then and my dad visiting two to four times a year until 3 yrs ago when i turned twelve. He started doing drugs again, And last year i heard from my aunt who heard from my mom that he had sadly committed suicidal overdose from heroin, No clue whether it was intentional or accidental. I then over time struggled into depression when in late 2019 i was placed in a mental hospital, then another one, then a temporary replacement home. Now i am back with my family and nothing's really changed. I'm still struggling. But listening to chester sing brings light to my day but always makes me cry at the same time. Rest in peace dad and Chester.
the unfair parts of life. we never enjoy them nor will we ever understand why it happened.BUT theres always hope to turn out greater than our past shadows.
Never apologize for showing your emotions, especially as a man. Society has trained men to keep things bottled up, and they wonder why men commit suicide at a rate 3x more than women. Let it out, it cleanses the soul.
Committing suicide is basically showing weakness (well for me at least) thats why I dont think of that or hurt myself im just humble
@@luismolina4167 ok
@@luismolina4167 That's not humble at all.
Thank you for your tears. They reminded me that are people who understand and are capable of love.
You're a treasure man, don't stop what you're doing. I'm glad you can connect with music. It's intense and beautiful and Chester was one of the best. Thank you for this.
This man deserves a million subs
NearlySeniorCitizen I really appreciate your empathy for Chester and his loved ones. I think it takes a really big man to allow the world to see you cry. I honestly just have to tell you I like and respect you so much.
The saddest part is Chester said a few days before the end he was happier than he had been in a long time. I'm also going to miss him and his voice. You should react to In This Moment's new song "Roots".
you are right Chester had a great impact in my life
Yes, please react to One more light official music video. It's a tribute to him from his band.
I get tears in my eyes every time I listen to this song, too... It was just so radically important to my upbringing and teenage years....
I was about 35ish when this came out and it still spoke to ME as well!
=(( Chester was and he is a Legend
Very true.
Nooooo don't apologize for crying. We miss him too... I broke down crying when I heard he died. He made such an impact on my life and is the reason I'm still alive today.... I feel u buddy, and we're all going to miss him
Hindsight is 20/20 but his lyrics were full of his struggles. As someone diagnosed with major depression I've come to appreciate their music music more. Was into them in high school but moved on. A lot of people don't like their new album due to the change in sound but I love how full of emotion it is and it really hits a chord with me. So on that note, is like to recommend you react to "HEAVY" off their latest release ONE MORE LIGHT.
As someone with depression, his death both scared me but I could understand. I had a nightmare that same night about him and when I woke up, I was devastated. The one man that got me through hell was gone. Chester will never be forgotten, he's a part of everyone that took his voice, words and messages to heart
It still hurts that he's gone
In The End and Lost In The Echo - Linkin Park
Rest In Piece Chester, you were so brave to stay in this hateful world for so long......
In the end has already been reacted to. should be reaction #971
MY MANS PULLED A HAMSTER OUT OF HIS POCKET
Thank you for understanding the meaning of this song and the emotions behind it. Your tears are what is needed. Indifference solves little. You have a beautiful kind heart sir.
sorry if I may be rude, but I am quite drunk and indifferent: so, would you react to One more light? it has become my favourite song and i am interested in how you would react to is
You gotta do his last performance of "one more light" it'll truly put you in tears when you realize the last thing he ever sings is "who cares if one more light, in a sky of a million stars, goes out" and then hugs a fan and leaves AGHH
Oh man :(
Even three years later it feels so unreal 😔
i agree.
awww that so adorable it nice to have little hamester as friend nice reaction by the way it cool to see how would an old man (No offense ) react to such band as linkin park it my favorite band unfortunately the lead singer died Chester was to me that confident strong person that brings the spirit of rock ti this band not just that but he had a really great fun personality am really shocked and very sad he was like my hero ....anyway nice video take care my friend
Thank you so much and stay strong. Take care and have a great day!
if you haven't listened to it you definitely should react to linkin park - one more light. Its a really emotional song off their last album.
Chester was so amazing he has inspired millions. Was so sad to hear about his passing :( I think we need to pay attention more attention to mental health. In Linkin Park's lyrics you can hear his pain. So sad
William you have a heart of gold. Love you dude.
6:30- never apologize for your compassion. Thank you for your channel. New sub.
I lookup to you sir and your feelings , true at heart my friend
Just the lyrics "and i know i may end up failing too" just made me give in too crying... R.I.P. Chester
Breaking The Habit by Linkin Park. You will definitely enjoy it.
Yes ! It was the song where Chester tells about losing his drug problem... I thought he recovered from that moment !! but :(
Hang in there sir, i think most of us had trouble talking about Chester.
Such a loss.
Another nice video. :)
Awww you're too dear. I have to admit that some tears fell from my eyes too. We all miss the beatiful person and amazing artist called Chester. ❤
Rip Chester you will forever be in our hearts
This will take me ages to get over this as linkin park is one of my fav bands. His vocal voice will never be forgotten :-(
I still cry when I hear his voice. Suicide is a very tricky and controversial topic, but I'm glad that people are starting to discuss mental health more and working on de-stigmatizing it. I lost someone I loved very much to suicide 6 months before Chester passed. I was really mad at my friend after the horror of it all began to wear off, but then it hit me...he had previous attempts as a teen and had been in his 30s when he died. I thought, "Who the hell am I to demand my loved one stay here, when they've been suffering and fighting for so long, just because I'm not ready to let them to go?"The year before my friend passed I had been drugged and raped and I had always sorta assumed I could sorta understand that trauma, but I didn't. Not until I was smack dab in the middle of it and my mind was doing it's best to deny it all. After the rape and my friend passing, my suicidal ideation went up (for people with chronic pain it's common to have a little). I once again found myself in a position that I thought I understood. It's so easy for us to judge someone else's actions even when we have NO IDEA what that person was actually experiencing. (I'm doing better now, just an FYI). As people, we really need to work on our judgment of other people and work on empathy. Thank you for your reaction to this...I felt it all with ya.
It fucking sucks I’m sorry I wish he was here 💔
It's still hard accepting Chester and Chris Cornell passing away. I was 19 when I first heard Linkin Park in 2000, I remember buying the CD and a local record shop because the album cover looked cool, little did I realize I would have a connection so strong with the music.
CharlieEst1981 Fuck you, you make me cry 😭
Your not the only one who does this. Its a whole other feeling listening to Chester. Before it was calming, but nowadays atop the calm, I would stop and reflect on more while I hear his voice.
Oh man I had to cry too watching this, Linkin Park and Chester Bennington meant so much to me and still do they made me childhood a bit better but I´m also happy their legacy will stay forever through their music
Please watch Linkin Parks "One More Light" It's the tribute video to Chester. Some of the last shows Chester did. Its a simply beautiful video. He was so close with his fans. I still miss him a lot.
I've struggled with alcoholism for a few years myself, much love and respect for you my friend!
Good luck on your way man
R.I.P Chester, thanks for the reaction of a Legend
I was six when I first heard them. He was my hero, still is.
Don't be sorry its a very emotional song and now its even more tragic some of the kindest and most talented people are also the most tortured.
This song always hurts to listen to. Everything I felt and supressed inside during high school.
My manz casually whips out a hamster out his small ass pocket 😂
You miss him,sir??😞..yes we all always miss and loves Chester so much😊😢❤...thanks for watch his song😊..I'm too shocked about his death and I'm literally crying for him😢
I feel you sir....😭😭
I'm literally still heartbroken 😭
I can't express my feelings around my mother who gets irritated about how sad I get about his death. I basically have to keep my mouth shut about it. I definitely had music and art to get me through the tough times. I have thought of suicide...like Chester I was abused as a child. It's hard to talk about it because others don't understand and basically say to forget...but it's not that easy. That type of darkness will always be apart of me and hunt me for the rest of my life until I die.
I'm happy you were able to express yourself and truly speak openly about Chester. Never be sorry to express your emotions.
All Hollows Eve Well now they are saying it was a homicide
You're a real human being. In every shape of the word. You're a blessing on this earth, man. I hope you live a long and happy rest of your life. You deserve it. You're a wonderful human being, and a wonderful person.
I really cannot stress that enough. There are so few people like you in this world, it warms my heart to actually see someone like you.
I thank you so much, E.R., for the very kind words. It is GREATLY appreciated! And I thank you so much for watching, for enjoying, and for commenting. I sincerely hope you have a GREAT day today!
Yeah im really sad chester is gone he was the voice of my childhood :(
Im literally crying while watching this😢 RIP Chester💔💘
React to One More Light by Linkin Park. The live version on Jimmy Kimmel is the best version to listen to and watch cuz you can see Chester get emotional and dedicated it to his good friend that hung himself too in May which was part of why Chester hung himself on what would of been his friend's birthday.
Weapons Of Warfare YES PLEASE!!!
Please do Leave out all the rest by Linkin Park
I miss him so much! He was a hero for me and he always will be. I love you, Chester
You're a good man. A beautiful man. Keep on doing your thing. Love the raw emotion, and how you share your personal woes when discussing the pain of others.
I was such a fucking mess I was crying every day over him and I'm barely getting stable now the song that really helped me cope was Leave Out All The Rest because when he says "When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done help me leave behind some reasons to be missed don't resent me and when you're feeling empty keep me in your memory leave out all the rest" so don't ever hate Chester just keep him in your memory and leave out all the rest ❤ R.I.P Chester we love you man.
After years of supporting Chester and linkin park ,you sort of understand how much Chester wanted to go , over the years the songs they have released just listen to the lyrics . Just reading them makes me feel pain and that’s how Chester felt , some linkin park fans criticised the band for the most recent song heavy , because it was too “poppy” but the thing is IT DOESNT MATTER the only thing that matters is that it is written from the heart and that’s what Chester did! I understand if you feel this is wrong , but after being a linkin park fan for at least 8 years I feel like this is what I believe
Thank you for reading 💓
RIP Chester Bennington
You will always live in our hearts ⭐️☘️
* Tigg * MSP sorry to break your bubble but Mike Shinoda wrote 90% of the lyrics, we'll never know why he committed suicide but the most probable explanation is because his close friend Chris Cornell died.
On the album Numb's song writer is credited as "Linkin Park". I agree Mike Shinoda was the main creative force of Linkin Park but there was sure a collaborative effort. The vast majority of Linkin Park's early works were songs about feeling alone or depressed and Chester doesnt have to be the only one in the group to feel those emotions. Speaking of being too "poppy", I stopped listening to the band after Minutes to Midnight because they indeed went too pop and that's not what I'm into.
Numb has been my favorite Linkin Park song since I found out about the band through Green Day.
Started crying about the same time as you. Love you Chester!! Please reach out if you need help to All
I cry with you,RIP Chester he was great person and singer:(
depression fuck you up mate
Cool reaction... I've always loved this band, R.I.P Chester
Listen to One More Light by Linkin Park, it is truly a tear jerker
Please react to the one more light music video
I don't know you but I can tell you're a very sweet soul
I thank you very much for the very kind words and I sincerely hope you have a very good day!
hi,can you react to linkin park-crawling,this song its amazing, and i think its about Chester pain when he was young
RIP Chester one great man with a golden voice!
It's ok, I also cry everytime I watch all of their music videos and sometimes we wish we could have saved him... But now he's in a better place.
If you haven't already. You should react to their song "one more light"
Thank you for making this reaction video.
LP are one of my fav bands!
I am so heartbroken about his death, even till this day. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it💔 such a talented, kind hearted man.
He didn’t deserve to go through what he did in his childhood. He suffered with abuse, and rape when he was only seven up until he was 13. 😭 He was bullied and teased at school, his parents divorced when he was 11, and he fell into drugs and alcohol addiction.
May he RIP❤️
I did not expect this reaction I really cried together at the time of the song.
