totally forgot to mention the new PEGGY (Ampeg style) preamp. Two Notes writes: "Pushing complex harmonic overtones, a warm midrange and oodles of rafter ratlin’ thump, Peggy delivers the
perfect blend of classic ’60s bass sonics with expertly-tuned tweak-ability to sit your tone in any pocket!". Now you know!

This is fine if you like a bit of rock & roll grind or whatever-core heavy distortion, which is what the two token pre-amps models give you - Peggy and Aviator (Darkglass). But I'm searching for something that can make a PA reproduce the sound of a solid, clean bass amp for all other kinds of music. Maybe that's impossible. I will probably return my Opus and just stick with a direct box.

This is a great addition to the Two notes Cab M+ pedal, but I only see 1 bass amp sound.
Do you know if they releasing additional bass amps sounds? such as Eden, Hartke, GK-RB 800?
Playing bass through guitar amps is what the current Two Notes Cab M+ forces you to do.
I have the Cab M+, and I like this pedals' potential, but hope for more.

there's a new bass preamp called "Peggy", but honestly you don't really need dedicated bass amps in these sort of devices. Guitar amps sound perfect on bass, just choose the right cab

    • @RossDaviesTwoNotes
      @RossDaviesTwoNotes 6 місяців тому +2

@@Leo_prado Thanks for getting in touch. We can certainly feed that back to our dev team for consideration, however you may want to try disabling the TSM Pre emulation and use the power amp only with the custom EQ and Enhancer - I have done this a few times and got some killer slap tones! In terms of a compressor, we will certainly feed this back, however in full transparency, it is unlikely this will make it into the architecture as there is already a compressor in the Enhancer section; on a side note, I also like to run compressors into the front end of OPUS and get my tone where it needs to be - if i need any extra compression post the Cab emulation, I add a touch of Body from the enhancer and I am set! :)

      Great question!
In short, OPUS is an end-to-end tone shaping Amp Simulator and DynIR Engine whereas C.A.B. M+ is a DynIR Engine that also features a single Clean B’man Inspired Preamp. OPUS builds upon the C.A.B. M+ specification, adding the following features:
      > An all-new blackout colourway
      > 5 pristine TSM Preamp emulations; 10 total slots for future Preamp models via free Firmware Updates
      > MIDI input for seamless assimilation into existing set-ups; MIDI breakout cable included
      > USB-C connectivity for future-proofed rapid data transfer
      > A collection of 40+ premier Acoustic Impulse Responses
      > A revised DynIR cabinet collection
      > 40+ artist-series presets from the likes of Pete Thorn, Michael Neilson, Jack Gardiner, Tom Quayle, Adam Steel, John Browne, Jay Leonard Jay and more
      > Dual Mono routing facilities: Simply define a terminus in OPUS’ DSP signal chain and you’re set to send two distinct signals from the DI (XLR) and LINE (1/4-Inch) outputs

Not just 1 speaker(as that doesn't at all represent all 5 speakers nor the whole cab) all of them, and summer more impulses about 7feet out from the cab, and behind the cab! Who gives a shit about amps as they all sound the same! It's all about your speaker!

I'm legally blind so all these computer driven pedals with their mini screen are imposable to use anywhere other then at home. I will be teched out of the music world before I die. It is all moving to computers which at home I can do if the app is scalable which most I have found are not. I hope this one is. I try to get the software first and make sure I can work with it. But that mini screen I will never be able to read to know what my settings are.
