I just ordered the Opus tonight, but I’ve been using 2 Cab M+’s as a wet/dry rig for gigging and it has been amazing. I am so anxious to have these other preamp choices too. Great demo as always JLJ!! 🤘

This is a cool looking (and sounding) pedal for sure. I could see using it both ways - as an IR loader when I can have my amp, and as an ampless solution when I can’t. Would be nice to have one peice of gear to handle both situations.

I have the CAB M+ and had a chat with Jason over at TwoNote about some features I would like to see.. they are now on the Opus. Props to Two Notes for listening. I've been gigging The CAB M+ for a year and a half or so and it is great as a pedal platform. Opus takes it up a notch and gives you the ability to have more tones at the tap of your toes. Switching presets before was a chore if you kept the CAB M on the floor.. as was getting to the tuner.

There aren't enough guitar demos in Bb. Opus seems really great as something you can plug your guitar into, record or do a gig, and it'll sound great.

I have a tight space on a board and need a full amp modeling solution but not really any effects (like my HX Stomp, but only amp modeling sections). I am hoping this will fit the bill!

I'm curious. Could the Opus be used to feed all the spatial (wet) effects in a wet/dry rig pedal board? The chain of wet effects would then be fed directly into a powered PA speaker cabinet on a adjustable elevated PA speaker stand? All the pedals in the dry effects chain (separated from the wet chain by an ABY box, of course) could then feed directly into the guitar amp. I believe it would make a great, transportable wet/dry live rig that incorporates a single guitar amp. I would appreciate knowing your thoughts on this idea. Thanks. Great video!

Why was the power amp active while you were doing the acoustic IR demos? It requieres power amp to work? Its the feature im most interested in :) wonder if I could buy acoustic IRs to Cab M and achieve same results
Ross from Two notes here - the power amp emulation can be used as a great tone shaping tool, even with Acoustic IRs. You can certainly add acoustic IRs to your C.A.B. M+, however you might want to consider OPUS as the Dual Mono Routing is a great way of blending your Dry Acoustic Signal and a Wet IR signal at your mixer / interface. Let us know if you have any questions concerning this.
Someone is upgrading from the CAB version to this and they're offering me their old pedal cheap
They claim the firmware is updated it to CAB+ is this possible?
Is the OPUS a real leap over the old pedal or is there "life in the old dog yet"..?

Acabo de comprar el cab m+, aun no lo pruebo y ya salio esto. Lo compre para complementarlo con mi revolt bass. No se como sentirme!!! 😢
As the hardware appears to be the same as the Cab M+, I wonder if there will be a firmware upgrade available to give it most of the same functionality. I'd pay for that upgrade if it was reasonably priced, but I definitely wouldn't sell the Cab M to buy this as I already have a preamp pedal I use. Would be good to have other options though to use it standalone.
I think it may be a DSP limit issue that they don't have enough space to put all the new stuff in the older box.
Can you change the presets with your phone via Bluetooth?
You can use the Remote App on your phone via Bluetooth to switch presets :)

This really should have been a firmware upgrade for the CAB M+ it's basically just some extra pre-amp models, remember the CAB M+ already has the bassman, a USB-C port and a better impedance for the DI, oh and it's black..... save your money if you already have a CAB M+ there are better pre-amp models and pedals out there
It's pronounced "Albion". People sometimes incorrectly pronounce it as "Albion", but "Albion" is the correct pronunciation. Hope that helps.
