But the fact is none of the crew knew about Luffy being the warrior of liberation until VP reveals it. So Jinbe knowing about it before hand makes no sense. Toei keeps doing this nonsense changes. They did the same for Jinbe particularly at the start of this arc. Where he gave NAMI'S dialogue to Jinbe for whatever reason where she was explaining about the warm Eddy. In the anime Jinbe is the one explaining about the Eddy to Nami which is crazy because it is Nami's role as a Navigator who knows about this stuff. It's like Chopper starting to explain about the poneglyps to Robin. It's ridiculous.

So ive seen alot of reactors commenting how luffy is immediately heading to gear 5 when doing a power up now. Its expected that a main character would be climbing their power levels like how goku would be seen powering through his forms during a fight to get to his highest one. But luffys previous gears were his improvised but technically incorrect ways of using his fruit, some even harmed him, he was technically using his life span for gear second. Now hes found his correct form, wouldn't it be expected that he would be using gear 5 as a replacement and farewell to his past gears?
Anyway using power up 1 then power up 2 then power up 3 for the protag is lame. Antagonists ? Yeah sure the author is cooking and after all it's still a shonen. But the protag ? Come on... people just don't like when it's different that's all. They all want the same thing every time and that's the reason some people hate gear 5. Because you know it's not a dark black long hair edgy power up, it's a goofy one. And because it's the only one like that then people don't like it.
