Hi Troy, thanks for your note. I love the Danube. You can river cruise north south between Budapest and Vilzhofen, Germany; or east west between Budapest and Bucharest. Both are fantastic. I see that you booked a cabin on my June 2022 Danube River and Oberammergau "Passion Play" cruise tour. The "Passion Play" dates back to 1634 and is performed only one summer every 10 years. I have attended the play about 30 years ago and it remains one of the highlights of my travel career.
Hi Laura, I really enjoy AmaWaterways. They offer river cruises in Europe, southern Africa, Egypt, and SE Asia. As with all cruise lines, Ama has a single supplement surcharge for solo travelers. However, from time to time they waive their single supplement fee. Talk to your travel advisor and be on the lookout for "single" cruise dates.
