LOVE THE MUSIC...i used to play music as i danced and did silk painting while my craft tent was still up. As i became self concious i moved inside and started watercoloring.

In my own opinion... Alla prima technique is best in oil painting
You do have to admit this painting is very nice.
It really depends on personal taste and execution.
I have better alla-prima watercolors than this one, and I often enjoy painting this way better than the slow glazesa approach (:
