Great videos and a great service!! I had to slow down records to 16 from 33 1/3 to learn Clapton back in '66 when a friend played me the " Beano" Mayall album. If I had these videos you release at that time , it would have saved me, the record and my mom and dad at least 6 months of aural distress...( Hendrix was even worse BTW). Admire what you are doing.
Maestro, that ending blues improvisation section 22:33 -was fantastic. BEYOND BURNIN’ for the blues rock universe -and my own personal galaxy! Thank you, man.
This is an old video… But you are way too self conscious about transcribing Eric Freaking Clapton… They wrote “ Clapton is God” on the walls for a reason!! You’re doing great 👍 I really appreciate your enthusiasm for music that I greatly appreciate and enjoy. Thanks for doing all the hard stuff so guys like me can fallow along! You rock man!!
Mike, I’m diggin’ it and getting a shed load of benefit from it. Been trying to get some of this down - and failing - for decades. Thanks so much for all you put into these lessons. Gonna get me those tabs right now !
I've just recently found your channel from your comment on Nik Sevigny's video if I remember correctly and oh man! Amazing content! Keep up the amazing work.
Hey Mike question: Is that possible a tutorial or scrapbook about Clapton's "Sunshine of your Love" solo from the Farewell concert 1968?... That could be a rel good thing watching you playing those amazing licks....
Great stuff Mike. Classic. Been watching your channel for quite some time. Was subscribed but apparently youtube had unsubscribed me without me knowing! Took care of that tho. Keep it burning!
Hey Mike, loving these early Clapton lessons- been working my way through your in depth All Your Love and Strange Brew videos Really appreciate it I’m sorry if I just haven’t seen your video on it, but an in depth video about Outside Woman Blues, as I love his solo work on the BBC recording of it Thanks for everything- great playing
Such great stuff man! I was just playing along trying to absorb those bends and phrasing! I have a question about your R8. I play les Pauls and have a few 50s USA standards. Do you have any idea how the custom shop R8 and R9 neck profiles compare to the USA standard 50s? My 50s standards have pretty chunky necks but wondering if the R8 is even fatter. Thanks! 🎸
Strangest thing, tried to download with Premium to places where there is no internet connection, and this particular video simply will not download. Perhaps it's in your settings?

Well done Mike! Burning on the R8. Thanks for the EC lesson
Thanks a lot Mike...your lesson encourages me to grab my Les Paul right now....
I’m diggin’ it! Holy smokes! That outro jam was off the hook!
Your repeating licks in your final solo ARE SIMPLY KILLER MAN..!!! THANKS FOR THAT GREAT LESSON..!!!!
Great lesson Mike! I’ve been following along in the background for a while now, you’re always a joy to listen to and a great teacher. Thx✌️
Your playing is fantastic. But your tone has that "10,000lbs of pressure" behind it that nails the Cream Clapton tone. Sick man!
Top fun, thanks.
Thanks for the hard work on this but most importantly what’s in the glass?… coffee, stout , coffee stout ?…
you are a very patient man......whoever gave this a thumbs down must be ungrateful lame brains .......it is all excellent....thankyou
Top lesson, Mike! Yes, that interview is a classic. I love the the Fool SG he's playing.

Great stuff Mike! I most certainly learn from your videos. Many thanks!
Great feel Mike!
The Clapton Scrapbook sounds so, well, Clapton-y. Good job, Mike.
Great video! Love it!
Great lesson again Mike. I'm really enjoying all the videos of late. You're putting out some really thoughtful and useful content. Many thanks!

Hi.. my R8 has a very chunky neck.. so at a guesss I’d say it’s a tad bigger than standards
Epic!!!
You got it down note for note awesome is that les paul honeyburst.?

Hi and thanks for sharing. Please what are the two pedals you use here? I m French and it's hard to understand for me.
Ohh man that was creamy
Great tone! Is that a marshall JTM45 or 1987?. What speakers are you using, you got an attenuator or pedals in the mix too?
its a reissue SLP for early 2000s.. I think I had a Wampler Velvet fuzz on with it in this vid.. speakers are greenbacks..
Hey Mike, is the Clapton scrapbook transcription available?
I can’t find the tab mike, could you please link me? Cheers from Oz!!

This is the sort of smooth blues legato he stopped playing. In fact, he totally gave up bent string vibrato. I suspect he had wrist issues.
