- Outgoing Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin, AC, handed command of the Australian Defence Force to General Angus Campbell, AO, DSC, at a parade in Canberra on 6 July 2018.
The parade featured Australia’s Federation Guard, the Band of the Royal Military College - Duntroon, a didgeridoo performance by Wing Commander Johnathon Lilley, an F/A-18 Hornet flypast and a 17 Gun Salute.
Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin, AC, retired after more than 40 years’ service in the Australian Defence Force.
"A time of significant change, and a time of significant challenge" understatement, but true
Who knew what this would lead to...
How do you mean?
Countries that Justice won't have
What is the money Australia will use for their Defense
Live what you had stood for
Doesn't everyone in the Army hate Angus for the Brenton report though
Laser point at
High ranking officers should get proper caps, not that weird hat thing.
The slouch hat?, if so then I don’t think so it’s been a symbolic symbol of the army since 1885 which was first used by the Victoria Mounted rifles and it makes the Australian army soldiers and officers stand out in a sea of Berets and peaked caps so it makes it more symbolic usually it’s pinned up for ceremonies and it’s pinned on with the rising sun pin and when it’s general duties it’s worn down and flat brimmed or it can be dipped on the front of the brim
no one cares
Angus Campbell wasn't a good pick, all he did was backstab is own troops, he should be stripped of his rank and sacked from the forces; he didn't get his medals for putting his life on the line but for just polishing a seat at a table.
