The concept...
The video is filmed in reverse and features Aníta Lísa Svansdóttir, an Icelandic actress and soccer player, hurriedly walking through a small town as she falls apart…literally. Anita bleeds from the ears as she searches of a pair of headphones to keep her alive. As headphone-wearing town folk realize she’s without music, they run in fear of having theirs stolen.

To me, the sounds at the end (voices, breathe..) become louder than the music from the moment she connects the headset to her phone/mp3.
So I understand it like she's living in a world where the ambiant sound is music. It is unbearable and she has to get a headset to hear what are natural sounds to us, so she can live normally. Basically it's the opposite of our world.
But I may be just saying massive bullsh**, and there is also the reverse that can be interpreted.

A bit of history:
in 1974, "Once You Get Started" by Chaka Khan was released. It was later sampled by Raw Man in 1999 and released as the track "Number Seven". It was then remixed by Le Knight Club the same year. In 2012, Kaskade & Skrillex sample that last song. So basically, "Lick it" samples a remix from a song that samples yet another song.
I guess this is a world where you literally need music in order to survive..
