A Winter Hike in Hibernia County Park

- Hibernia County Park consists of over 900 acres of trails, woodlands, meadows, open fields, play areas, pavilions, camping and picnic areas. Popular fishing sites include the Brandywine Creek’s west branch, Birch Run, and a children’s pond. Chambers Lake is a great spot for boating and fishing.
It was nice to see the dam area, and the dam spillway, and the dam triple water wheel area. I hope I don't sound angry to you. Have a good day.

Beautiful great park. The under water wheels, are where Lukens Steel was started, they made plates for ships. Lots of history in the park. My great grandmother and some relatives worked in the mansion . Your video is awesome, lots of things to see and enjoy.

I think I would have went the other way to Japan. Surprisingly, I don’t do much research on my hikes either. I just look up the mileage mostly. Anything I see on the way is a surprise. Nice little winter hike. It did not look cold at all for it being February. 👍

Hi. Two to four inches of snow here in schulkill county. Watching this before going out to shovel. Looks like a good hike. I like the maps you get for your hikes. You certainly like your outdoors.
About two inches here, but it's not sticking to roads and sidewalks. I usually see a map online before we go and pick up a paper map at the office or board at the destination. I think all of us in this community love being in creation. Blessings to you, John.
We haven't tried this park yet...l think we need to check it out soon!! I love anywhere I can hike around water and ruins....
