- In this demonstration, I will help with a common dilemma! What happens if you have a smaller piece of cork fabric but would like to make one long strap with it? Here's how! This method will also work with just about any type of fabric.
You can find cork fabric here: sewsweetness.c...
Thank you Sara. Love your Demos. I've seen putting material together the other way u mentioned, but this way I like so much better. Also I was taught always pin, mark areas needed, measure twice , cut once. so even though it is a small area it makes the sewing together so much easier marking it. Thanks for your time.
Great demo, thanks! I like the way you show the 1/4 inch where you don't line up the fabric exactly, you show the 1/4 inch jog in the fabric. Great idea to measure and mark that.
Thank you so much for the demo, now I really understand the technique.😊
Thank-you so much! I have been puzzling over this issue!
Thank you brilliant demo sewing the cork
Looking forward to your live today 😀
Thank you! Very helpful!
Thank you Sara. Your finished strap, Is that a raw edge on the long sides or not?
Please tell me this can be done with vinyl and leather! I need a long strap for a cross body bag and I don't have a long enough piece of vinyl! I am giddy with hope!
You sure can :)
This ends up essentially the same as joining strips for making binding for quilts.
I think I’ll make a belt this way.
