It's a great project. This makes me think of a project that I would like to carry out. I am paraplegic, I have difficulty walking with crutches. And because of that, it's very complicated for me to carry things. And I would like to design a transport cart that is able to follow me autonomously around the house and my workshop in order to easily transport objects from one place to another. (Translated from French to English with Google translate)
Very excited to ORP... my only concern is making it work well on carpet...I'd love to test a little robot around my house but carpet is so annoying to deal with.
Going to print/cut one of these this week. Very cool project! Would switching to a TMC2208 allow for noiseless operation? If so, what would be involved in swapping one in?
Great stuff, Nikodem! I got some inspirations for my channel now as well - thinking of designing 3D printing my own robot platform. :) Do you have you experience with the hole pattern mounting 3d party PCBs, like Raspi, Arduino, sensors...? Or in other words why do you chose 20mm distance for the holes?
Please, sound treat room for recording audio, or use some other methods to lower echo. For non-native speaker like me, it was very hard to listen to this video as podcast, without subtitles etc., i had to up the volume as well, which was uncomfortable. Nonetheless, video is great, waiting to see more!
I just launched Kickstarter for ORP chassis: kck.st/3HF9Pyz

Your 'Powerpuff girls' references were not wasted on me. Class work sir. :)
How does two $500 motors translate into a $40 build?
