- I'm back lol. In this video I will show you how to play Dragon Link even better than I did in my previous videos. This video is intended to be as comprehensive of a guide to Dragon Link NOW YUGIOH MASTER DUEL EDITION as I can manage in the time I had to make this video. damn I didn't think about percentages of hitting babies off chaos ruler, that's legit dude lol! The extra search for discard wasn't really too important for me but the chance of going full combo of suboptimal opening hands as long as I go into ruler is way worth it. Updating my list now!

this guide honestly feels very positioned towards people who basically already understand the combo lines, so you're essentially just showing them how to execute. You go really, really fast imo. Idk, this guide feels nonsensical to someone learning the game.

If you are new or returning, you should not be going straight to dragon links as a combo deck you're learning.
Dragon links is like mathmech ignister. You don't just pick up the deck and learn the perfect play of it. Pilots of these deck must play it for months before even being able to call themselves adequate with the engine

@halfozhero3596 I love dragonlink, but I have to agree with their perspective on it. He flies by using slang terms for cards. Meanwhile I'm over here like what happened to dillingerous dragon why is no one playing him anymore
@@haku6506u have to watch his other vids to see why he does not recommend deling. So he is not gonna repeat it in every vid. But just for ur knowledge, he prioritizes tripple burst instead of deling because the deling Conbo requires to use both strikers. So if u cant get striker back in uour ED. The grind game becomes much more difficult.
13:15 could have ended on:
seal - borrelend - hot red - loop a card - and a 70% chance of getting beast/regained.
Seal and borrelend are nuts together. Being able to reborn bystials and pop druiswurm, after they use their effects.(u gotta play 2 recharger thou).
19:42 if u were playing dill and not triple burst you could have ended on:
seal - borrelend - savage - IP - loop a card - beast and regained. W/ a bystial in hand, and a boot for next turn.
If ruler hit it's 60% chance to get a rokket, then u would keep the druiswurm.
The argument for not playing dill isn't very valid, as u pretty much never go into it without a bystial. And u do allot of ur combos using the same striker - recharger line..
26:05 could have ended on:
seal - borrelend - hot red - beast and regained. W/o needing triple bad dragon.
The chaos space draw had about a 40% chance to get a dragon, And ruler had a 80% chance. If either of those saw a dragon you also got an IP/savage.
31:19 could have ended on:
borrelend - beast - regained - savage or IP if u wanted a draw from regained, more bystials in gy, and don't mind risking rulers roughly 30%, and regained 50% chance to miss the needed extender. w/o using triple bad dragon or high rolls (using dill again).
As far as your argument with the baby dragons. I would say it's kind of null. while yes if u Don't see a baby it will give ruler a boost from 41% to 51% roughly. You have a 70% chance to see a white wyvern in your opening hand. Now when you make ruler you have roughly a 15% chance that it hits that black wyvern. Where it's 0% if ur playing 3. Making your ruler potentially worse 70% of the time..
35:58 could have ended on seal - borrelend - beast/regained - IP/savage and a 40% chance to hand loop as well. If ruler missed your 50% chance to get a baby it would get u something u could use, but would leave no extra extender after borrelend. Even regained was roughly 45% chance to see an extender.
The aforementioned board guarantees both dragons and IP or savage with 98% efficiency. With a potential hand loop. Even regained in this line would give u roughly a 60% chance to see a dragon extender.
If you're really afraid of nib; 4 out of the 5 lines listed above summon seal before the 5th summon.
The best way to get the most out of your ruler mills is to do it as late in the line as possible so u can dig cards out it doesn't want to hit. And if possible before a normal summon. Seyfert next to ruler searches pretty much ur whole deck, w/o losing a bunch of advantage.

These are boards that could have been made from the hand of time stamp
All of the for percentages for probabilities were found from using a hyperbolic calculator. I'm not perfect so I'm sure some might be a little off. Deck variant, and cards left in deck are big factors that make the numbers fluctuate.
In no way am I saying the way Trish builds and plays his deck is wrong. If it works for him great!

Trish's deck is pretty much the same thing, besides a few different ratios.
2 recharger: for the tracer pop on the opponents turn.
1 black wyvern: ruler ratios
3 lubell: crazy card why not play at 3
I play dill instead of triple burst
2 ravine: one I've been on the fence a while. Idk if it's correct, but it's tested well.
Access code, Baronne, and angel are all good removal cards. Pretty much can be exchanged for one another. U can make baronne going first but it's expensive. Angel is a little different since it can be made using non-essential pieces, and is dark. In saying that though like baronne it is stronger going second.
As far as outing avramax. I'm assuming it's also under IP's condition. U couldn't out it on ur turn, Seal could do it on the next one. Idk if u would worry about it though. Only 1 deck is playing it (not all of those are either). On top of that they won't always summon avramax.

nice deck ive been playing it for months now and its even funner with bystials, question tho without goddess in your extra, what is your out to an opponent's borrelend or towers like cards?
I've been quite reluctant to do the normal summon Seyfert tribute itself for collapse, if I get ashed there it pretty much fucks up my whole turn unless I have something like quick launch in my hand
Same. I will only ever use its effect to discard from hand. Never itself as I got burnt too many times
I don't know someone asked until now, but what would you put out from the Extra Deck for Chaos Angel? Or is Chaos Angel not necessary in this Deck? For now, I put out Hot Red.

Combo 3 and 4 relied way too much on chaos ruler gamble. If your opponent ever drops a handtrap on it, or if you don't hit the baby chaos, you quite literally have to end on the bystials and nothing else, which is terribly frail for a turn 1. And god forbid if they actually play nib.

Doesn't Branded Regained have higher priority than Beast? It's not a disruption but helps immensely to prepare for a turn 3, especially if your board is broken
You can saronir effect to send regained and setting beast with lubellion will let you set regained from grave during end phase

I don’t think it’s necessary rn. We play it in tcg bc of how many cards have been hit. It is functionally identical to baronne.
You could substitute baronne for it, but baronne is strictly better.
What do you think of underworld goddess?, I find I have a hard time dealing with a ip avramax, especially through interruptions and getting close to running out of resources, I've cut the 2nd striker cause if I ever need it I can recycle it back with regain, it has worked out for me but I'll like to hear your thoughts
thats why you play triple burst dragon .. its negate avramax in the dmg step

@@padieyBaronne, Triple Burst, or Savage all deal with Avramax.
Would’ve liked to see a line that goes into the baronne. Seems obvious like tracer+6*bystial= baronne but when is it appropriate?
Baronne can easily be cut for anything else like Borrelsword, Topologics, Furious (if you play Disruptor) or Draco Berserker until we get Chaos Angel. Baronne just happens to be the best generic synchro 10 available for the time being.
Going 1st the only time you summon Baronne is when you open exactly Tracer/Launch and a Bystial, are under Maxx C, and have your own Maxx C in hand so you can negate any outs to it they may have. Any other scenario and you are just going Seal pass.
Baronne is mostly there as a turn 3 play when you already have full setup and can use Borrelend to revive Tracer to go into Baronne before you are dark locked.

14:23 you say to CL1 Collapse and CL2 Striker, but when I play I get the prompt to activate Striker Dragon before I get the prompt to activate Collapse; does saying “no” on the Striker prompt allow me to switch that order, or is there something I’m missing?
Yes it’s in settings. I think it’s activation order settings or smth similar
As a returning old-school player that decide to play dragon link in MD, the skill ceiling on this deck is absolutely ridiculous. Just hearing the your explanations in the small details which would outplay most situations in the format.
How do you use veiler with nib? You cant negate the token effect since its not an effect monster right?
Use veiler on a negate then nib the opponent. Not the other way round.

Been loving this deck in MD, really glad to see a good guide specifically for it. Is there a particular reason in the first two combos that you don't send Tracer for Seyfert's effect and search Wyverburster? This would keep Seyfert in grave for if/when you get Lube/Levi in grave and the Tracer should be pretty easy to resummon from banished with Pisty and not require the second copy Collapse in your deck.
Ur play misses out on a rocket tracer on quick launch activation which is a -1. You’re getting seyfert back through pisty anyway
@@TheLemondrop7 Wouldn’t be a -1, you’d pop ravine with tracer instead of quick launch. Main downside is that you’d have to use ravine before making chaos ruler, so you’d probably want to pitch lube with ravine instead of absorouter so you dont need to rely on lucky mills
That chaos ruler in combo 2 was just greedy for no reason. You already got full bystials lineup and resolved all your extenders. No need to dig for that extra veiler or nib. Just go into savage. Also pisty summoning back striker was so short-sighted. Could've gotten back seyfert and use ravine to get levi, then use regain to recycle your striker later. Unnecessary reservation there considering how far you've already gotten into your combo.

Where is dillingerous. Nibiru is extremely rare and no one waits for borrelend to nib anyway. The only handtrap that actually hurts thedillingerous line is bystial but no one is patient enough for that.
Duel Monster is the game, Yugioh is the ANime. How can you not know that?

All respect towards Trishula, he is a pro indeed, but i don't think his views on the game are 100% right. Playing too much around Nibiru, even though nobody's using it. I've lost my board much more to Sphere Mode and Lava Golem than to Nib. Also in my opinion his plays are a bit greedy, i mean if it works great, but it can definitely screw you up too. I personally am playing Dillingerous combo, it was enough to get me to Master, and that's all I care about.
Agree. The Dillingerous play has its downsides but requires less resources to pull off, while the Triple Burst play requires more optimal hands
Why one nib ?
Not necessary to play more when Maxx C fills the same role. You’d rather draw Maxx C and draw into nib. Think of nib as more of a payoff for opps who take Maxx C challenges thinking “no one plays nib in master duel.”

You can use chaos angel or baronne interchangeably, you pretty much use them until dis pater comes out
Borrelend + Abyss dragon / Savage dragon is not a good endboard, directly loses to superpoly with no follow up.
only 1 deck uses super poly and otherwise still loses to dlink. Especially with bystials; unless you wanna count the occasional hero deck as well
