Thanks for the kind comments Raymond and for taking the time to post them, glad you're enjoying the videos. Hope your fishing is going well! Tight lines, cheers Chris.
No worries at all +Liam Battye glad you enjoyed it. The back lead isn't a rig as such, it simply clips on to your mainline. Hope that helps, cheers Chris.
Thanks divin777 glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the kind comments. I'm not 100% sure on the depth, but I would guess it would be somewhere in the region on 4-8ft. :-)
Steve\Chris. Hi Ian, alycidon12 as usual thanks for the kind comments and for taking the time to drop us a message! :-) Hope all's good at your end. The weather hasn't been too bad here in Norfolk, seems like we've avoided most of the snow and that, it has been freezing tho!!! Not long tip spring now though really and we can't wait!! Despite the weather, hope you've been managing to get amongst a few! :-) Tight lines, cheers Chris.
Thnaks pono kid joe glad you enjoyed it! :-) The rod rest we used in the video is a Daiwa Feeder Rest, there's a link to a 'Tackle Box' page in the video description. Hope that helps.
Hi chilledone it's called a flying back lead, they are mainly used for big Carp fishing but a few match anglers are not starting to use them, so much so Preston Innovations have now released there own range, dedicated to match/coarse anglers.
My last fishing session was not good the fish was slow on to get the hook, trying for 7 hours to find out where the fish was i cached 12 fish than @ 17 hours i get a 9 mm boillie on my hair stop vanilla flavored and planted my hybrid feeder 20 meters on the left side of the reed and bam i hit the jackpot, the next 3 hours i cached 16 fish straight that was nice also i cached two carps weighing 7 LB 11 OZ
Hi youpoptube1 in general feeder rods/quivertip rods don't have test curves like Carp rods do, they are rated in ounces. Normally you'll get a variety of different tips with a rod, for example a light, medium and heavy. Depending on how far we were planning to cast/weight of feeder we were using we'd pick the tip accordingly. I don't think the tip on the Daiwa rod is rated, but if you google it, am sure you might be able to find out some further info. Hope this helps. Cheers Chris
hey just wondering when you said you dont clip up as you are trying to find the fish are you constantly changing spot or just if the current spot goes quiet? Thanks in advance!
Hi paddyO961 we were casting around the swim until we picked up a fish, if we did we would then try again in the same area for a few chucks. If nothing happened we'd them move again. It's just often at this time of year the fish can be shoaled up quite tightly in one particular area. They aren't as active as they are in the summer, so you have to find them with your bait, rather than them finding your bait! :-) Hope that helps a little.
Do you prepare spot that you gonna fish with paricles/groundbait or you just cast in the same spot without any spot preparation?Never fished with method feeder before but i will try it soon and that is what i dont know. :)
Hi Mladen Milenkovic normally with the method feeder you don't prepare the swim. It's a great technique for casting around your swim to try and find the fish. Once you do this you can them often cast to the same spot! :-)
A mixture of normal coarse fishing pellet the red baron Oh and some Sonu Baits Band'ums. There's a link in the video description to our Tackle and Bait Box. Hope that helps.
Nice video though i would say if you're going to chuck out to different spots to search out the fish then personally the bomb would be better so you're not chucking out those free offerings all over the place. Being in winter the fish arent on the feed that much but whatever works, works.
Thanks Barry Simkins glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment. Haha... it was very blummin cold!!! Roll on spring I say! ;-)

Thanks divin777 glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the kind comments. I'm not 100% sure on the depth, but I would guess it would be somewhere in the region on 4-8ft. :-)

Nice one mate!
what test curve minimum would you say u need for method feeder at that sort of distance

What is the biggest carp that you ever caught on the method feeder
I'm not sure mate, probably nearly 20lb I'd say!
What hook baits are you using
A mixture of normal coarse fishing pellet the red baron Oh and some Sonu Baits Band'ums. There's a link in the video description to our Tackle and Bait Box. Hope that helps.

Thanks Barry Simkins glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment. Haha... it was very blummin cold!!! Roll on spring I say! ;-)
