- This video is presented by the Spanish modeler Jose Moral. He refers to the photos from the book Achzarit Heavy APC in IDF Service published by Desert Eagle Publishing. During the whole process, Jose Moral pays attention to every detail and provides us with a very detailed Achzarit model at last. Muy profesional, de lo mejor que he visto, y he visto mucho modelista! Solo comentar que que el Ajzarit ha sido modificado varias veces a lo largo de su vida operativa y espero que en algún momento algún fabricante saque la ultima actualización del vehículo con RCWS (remote control weapons systems) y un nuevo generador de energía auxiliar.

Fernando Henrique I am using a thin layer of AK Africa Dust effect airbrushed... then I remove the excess with White Spirit. You can make the same with acrylics but with enamels is easier to control because acrylics dry faster.Thanks for your support!

When you put the dark wash over the white interior, did you put a clear gloss coat on first? And do you work exclusively with acrylics? when painting? I enjoy watching your Meng videos.

Les Thiele I usually recommend to make a gloss varnish before the weathering process because this step protect the painted surface and it makes the washes runs better over the surface (like a slide surface). I always use acrylics for painting and if is possible enamels and pigments for weathering.

Hola CPA, lo uso para ambas cosas en diferentes procesos, en el caso de lavados puntuales para retirar el exceso en los alrededores, y cuando se aplica un filtro o un efecto de polvo en este caso para cubrir grandes superficies, el White Spirit se usa para rebajar y poder controlar el efecto para mejores resultados. Para piezas de fotograbado solemos usar cianocrilato, el clásico pegamento instantáneo que se emplea para pegar cuero, metal, cerámica...

de paso comento nunca he usado acrilico siempre esmalte, por eso cuando pintaba tenia que usar mascara pero igual la casa quedaba con un tufillo que a mi esposa le encantaba,..je
En este caso use Acrilicos Vallejo para imprimar.
i didnt see him mention what base color he painted the model??
sekytwo this color will be available soon at AV chart, anyway I show the formula about how to create it mixing another existing colors. The name of the color is Sinay Grey 82, you can find it anyway at the AK Interactiva, Lifecolor or Ammo Mig IDF sets.

Your aerial did not work? I drill right down the middle of the white post 0.5 mm drill then bend at 25 mm length of old Fruilmodel track wire which I then glue into the post. The wire can then be tied under a little tension to keep the slack out of it

It's just regular lead. You can take any lead pencil and scrape it on top of a surface for a metallized effect. :)

I used a bar of graphite, you also can use pigment "steel". With this you will achieve a realistic "polished metal" effect. Thanks for watching.
