Great Vid! Went there Sep 2019 with my friends from Manhattan Beach, California. Magical 2 weeks. Unstad & Lofoten Surfsenter was the best! Kristian Breivik (he's the white-haired guy you see at 16:13 runs the surf shop there with his Viking shield maiden wife Line. We surfed with their son Frimann Breivik and the shop surf pro Shannon Ainslie (google his name and watch the vid of him on a wave in South Africa where he get's attacked by two great whites at the same time!).
Glad u enjoyed the vid, its a magical Place indeed, i know kristian he's super cool, bought a board of him , met line and shannon well, cool people, cool Place, glad u had a good time, didn't know shannon was Attacked, Gotta see that now, Thanks!
Another fun fact about Shannon Ainslie occurred at the Lofoten Masters i think 2017. He's in the lineup and 2 huge orcas pop up next to him! It's on a video you can likely Google.
Awesome intro, so epic! Hey, I'm curious which month did you surf? We are planning to go to Lofoten islands end of July. Do you think there's surfable waves for two beginners?
i would wait until late august but yeah for absolute beginners yeah u might get some nice days for sure
