Black Eagles can have Indomitable will which was made for Edelgard or Edge of dawn which is the song you where reffering when you said it's Name is Lady of Hresvelg
This one is the ending theme for two routes, Azure Moon and Crimson Flower. Which makes sense, as those are the two conclusions for Edelgard, either she gets her dream realized, or goes to crazily desperate measures to fulfill it. The other paths are wrapped around other characters conclusions, so they get their own themes.
Pretty sure the real reason is that CF was rushed into the game at the last minute, so they just reused the most fitting final boss theme from another route. Which is why it’s the shortest route, has only one animated cutscene, and why Jeritza wasn’t playable at launch.

In my opinion, Apex of the World fits best with CF. However CF was definitely rushed at the end. It's almost like they completed CF all the way to the battle at Fhirdiad, then put it aside to work on later (probably would have had us fight TWSiTD). However, they forgot about it and launched it as is.

I don't think I'll ever be able to forget the leitmotif of Three Houses because of all the covers, but this one really sticks out in a good way, great job Jules and Julia!

Agreed, Edelgard's route is so divisive and conflicting, making you wonder if you've truly made the right decision. While not the most fleshed out (given that it's the shortest), it's still my favorite.
The lack of cutscenes and care put into that route makes it my least favorite by default, but I'm still super glad we got it! The fact we got 4 routes in 1 game is amazing, I just wish the 4th had just as much care put into it as the other 3. Makes it impossible for me to recommend Crimson Flower for a first playthrough. Although, I did enjoy the final map in Crimson Flower WAY more than the final map of Silver Snow.
I really liked the route, mostly because it had some of the most interesting ideas of any FE plot we've seen. It was obviously rushed, but it still has some great moments that make it the most memorable route for me.
It was the first route i went with, Rhea was killing people mercilessly with no trial for crimes seemingly unworthy of death and then she tells me to kill my student and my friend? Yeah fuck that shit, ill back El any day.
I think Crimson Flower's length makes sense. The post timeskip narration makes a point of how big of an advantage the Adrestian Empire has, and the only reason why any non-imperials win is because of Byleth. But when that same trump card joins the currently winning side, the Empirer now has an even bigger advantage. Every chapter of CF, you're pushing towards your goal, taking key strategic positions along the way. It is shorter because the war ends several months before the other three routes. That said, CF is my favourite route, then Azure Moon. I don't really like Verdant Winds or Silver Snow due to them being effectively the same with final bosses that don't hold weight unlike the CF/AM final bosses.

I'm as much of an Edelgard stan as I am a Dimitri stan, and the fact that this plays during both of their routes is GREAT. I do for some reason still associate this theme with Dimitri, though. More so Dimitri's relationship with Edelgard.

I played GD first, but I was more curious than mad at Edelgard because I felt that there HAD to be more to the story than what the game was giving me...and there was; I pity her because her fate is tied in with Lysithea’s: premature death. She had to make things fall into place quickly or she would die before she would be given another chance.
This song is so well done making you feel the weight of the situation happening. This encapsulates the ultimate struggle the Black Eagles and Blue Lions go through so perfectly.

Recently finished the game first time. Chose CF route. My god, that was one of the best experiences for a long time. Was absolutely blown by this theme on final map: epic, powerful, uplifting, leading you to the conclusion of everything you've done throughout the game. And cover multiplied it all like by 1kk. Awesome cover! Also, Team Edelgard FTW! :)

I'm more team dimitri than team edelgard, but I also love edel because of the character she is. She is soooo well written, I'm really happy she is the antagonist (and what a great antagonist she makes) and when she is in your side, she has some flaws in her way of doing things, but that's how it normally happens. She's not supposed to be perfect or have the perfects answers for everything, it's what this game is about, there is no golden route or perfect path.

Nobody sacs bernie like that and gets away with it, I've got a force lightning primed and ready for anyone who thinks they can try. - - - and I attribute Jeralt's death more to Thales than Edelgard, let's be real here, I don't think she was happy about that one either.
I think for the most part, at least when you play Black Eagles, the end of White Clouds comes off as a smear campaign by Thales to make it so you don't like/trust Edelgard and feel really betrayed by her when she reveals herself as the Flame Emperor. Then fight against her because he knows that if she gets other allies, she'll win and then come after him. I think Azure Moon makes it clear that Thales doesn't really care if Edelgard wins or not, only if everyone dies so his people can take over the remains. If you fight Arundel with Dimitri, he straight up tells Dimitri he hopes they kill each other.
Edelgard definitely had no idea of Thales' plan to kill Jeralt. It DOESN'T change the fact that she enabled Those Who Slither in the Dark and gave them the ability to do everything they did, though.
@@adamrhodes9533 Well that implies that Edelgard willingly joined them, when it makes far more sense that she was strong armed into thier ranks. Remember, TWSITD have complete control of the Empire at this point and a sizable foothold in the Kingdom. It makes more sense that Edelgard had no other real option. Theres a clear power struggle between the two and Edelgard is plotting to stab them in the back the minute shes able. Its actually the reason she clings to Byleth so strongly, Byleth is her best shot at beating TWSITD, which makes them killing Jeralt and attempting to smear her name in Byleths mind all the more logical.

Recently finished the game first time. Chose CF route. My god, that was one of the best experiences for a long time. Was absolutely blown by this theme on final map: epic, powerful, uplifting, leading you to the conclusion of everything you've done throughout the game. And cover multiplied it all like by 1kk. Awesome cover!

Edelgaurds Ideals were Genuine... The methods she chose though. No. not that Life would give her any other choice.
I'm more team dimitri than team edelgard, but I also love edel because of the character she is. She is soooo well written, I'm really happy she is the antagonist (and what a great antagonist she makes) and when she is in your side, she has some flaws in her way of doing things, but that's how it normally happens. She's not supposed to be perfect or have the perfects answers for everything, it's what this game is about, there is no golden route or perfect path.

and I attribute Jeralt's death more to Thales than Edelgard, let's be real here, I don't think she was happy about that one either.
I think for the most part, at least when you play Black Eagles, the end of White Clouds comes off as a smear campaign by Thales to make it so you don't like/trust Edelgard and feel really betrayed by her when she reveals herself as the Flame Emperor. Then fight against her because he knows that if she gets other allies, she'll win and then come after him. I think Azure Moon makes it clear that Thales doesn't really care if Edelgard wins or not, only if everyone dies so his people can take over the remains. If you fight Arundel with Dimitri, he straight up tells Dimitri he hopes they kill each other.

Edelgard definitely had no idea of Thales' plan to kill Jeralt. It DOESN'T change the fact that she enabled Those Who Slither in the Dark and gave them the ability to do everything they did, though.

@@adamrhodes9533 Well that implies that Edelgard willingly joined them, when it makes far more sense that she was strong armed into thier ranks. Remember, TWSITD have complete control of the Empire at this point and a sizable foothold in the Kingdom. It makes more sense that Edelgard had no other real option. Theres a clear power struggle between the two and Edelgard is plotting to stab them in the back the minute shes able. Its actually the reason she clings to Byleth so strongly, Byleth is her best shot at beating TWSITD, which makes them killing Jeralt and attempting to smear her name in Byleths mind all the more logical.
God, there will never ever be anything that can compare to that drop before the final chorus. That shit FUCKS.
