As used offerings of this 2020 are going for mid $30s, this is absolutely a best bang for buck for those looking for small children hauling. I am cross shopping this, the Pilot Elite, and the Honda Odyssey EX-L for family hauling for the next few years. This blow the others away in terms of comforts and vehicle dynamics. Honda interiors are spartan by comparison. The Odyssey and Pilot have more space, but I am coming from a 2015 Passat (hauls 2 kids fine, but not the 3rd on the way). A used 2020 model is absolutely as usable as the new MDX and at a substantial discount. Infotainment is easy to get used to. It has Carplay, I'll deal.

One are where the precious model beats the current, interior storage. Storage takes a big hit in the 2022.
No storage in the console area and the armrest storage that can hold a gallon of milk in 2022 is a third of that size in the 2022. Also no under console storage pass through like what can be found in the Aviator or GV80.
Might not be a big deal in Camaro or Mercedes SL, but in a midsize three row SUV that’s kind of a let down.

I test drove a 2019 TLX before settling on a 2015 Hyundai Genesis "G80". The layout of the TLX's infotainment was infuriating and the TLX made me use a scroll wheel for Android Auto which was super annoying. I also agree about the interior, it wasn't quite premium but at least it didn't have gloss black. The audio was pretty meh too. But the steering wheel was satisfyingly beefy and squishy, and the SH-AWD was miraculous when flooring it out of corners. @@ErikaLopez-np8yn It really depends on the person. I also prefer the 2020 MDX, even if it does look like Acura has been using the same interior for the last decade or so from this generation. For me, I'm a simple person, and technology is not what I need when I drive a car. I just focus on the driving, maybe change the radio at times and take some calls, but other than that, I don't care about tech. I think this car still looks nice, can't go wrong with the jewel eye headlights, drives well, technology is not as bad as people say it is as it is still nice and responsive, I like these simple gauges, and SH-AWD is always a treat. Something about older designs just catch my eye better than the newer ones. I have a 2021 Toyota RAV-4, and that is nice and simple: simple climate control, simple gauge cluster, electronic parking brake, reverse camera, lane keep assist, Entune Suite infotainment, and that's all I need. This MDX proves that simple is sometimes the better option, and honestly, that's what most people are probably going to be leaning towards. And it still looks nice on the inside and still shows off somewhat of a luxurious feel.
