Well, it's official now... Now that every duel Marik ever had in the anime has been (beautifully) recreated without any Shadow Game BS, ridiculous asspull anime effects, or that idiot condition Ra had in the anime, it's clear that Marik would have lost ALL of his duels (except the one he had against Bakura)! Even the alternate duel against Kaiba had him owned, but Marik would've probably put Mokuba up as a last minute ransom like Pegasus and Noah did. Overall, Marik, despite having the strongest Egyptian God in the game and being an entertaining antagonist, absolutely SUCKED as a duelist and had to resort to his Shadow Games to win and/or have the advantage. Thank you, YGOLANG for recreating these Marik duels and bringing justice to his victims who got cheated!
You are correct in a way, but don't forget that he uses all those shitty cards just so he can bring more pain to his opponent. He did not seek to straight uo win, but to drain their life points bit by bit and enjoyed watching them suffer. He was completely insane/twisted but lmao pretty good duelist, and even tho Joey is my favorite duelist ever you cannot say that he is clearly better because almost all of his wins come for pure RNG. That is why this whole arc is the GOAT

It just pissed me off how Mai was cheated with that stupid condition Ra had, and that Joey would've won had Marik not drained him to death. All of this really questions Kaiba and the Battle City Rules, though. How he allowed Marik to do these sick Shadow Games under Battle City rules, basically giving him the biggest handicap in the entire tournament, was just ridiculous. Wasn't it enough that he had Ra...?? But yeah, I did still love the arc too, regardless.
Si joey ganaba todos no sobrevivirian a la explosión de la isla ya que en la historia original debido a que joey quedo inconsciente llamaron a doctores en un helicóptero y en ese mismo helicóptero escaparon ya que el dirigible quedo dañado y no lo pudieron arreglar y debido a eso el mundo se acabaria porque no habria nadie para detener a dartz ya que dartz venceria a kaiba fácilmente y debido a que las cartas de los dioses se perderian en el océano los planes de bakura no se podrian completar en la temporada 5 xd de echo no estoy seguro si los planes de dartz no funcionarian ya que le dio el poder de los dioses egipcios al leviatan para que facilite su despertar
