Technically it was only once and the flashback happened twice I think (?) But yes, always wanted to see a Koyo Duel. Soeaking of Koyo, want to do a Koyo Vs Anime Jaden duel?
@NaBYGO Yep, considering that it technically happened during Manga Jaden's forst Hero deck Vs Koyo where his deck resembles S1 Jaden deck. Could be interesting to see Jaden Anime's prime Vs the Manga's reigning Hero champion :)
@@thehoennguardians4286 I did enjoy using koyo's deck, it's super fast and can spam fusions very easily, so It will be very awesome vs the king of fusions
Hey NaB YGO bro, I have one question for you. Could you explain why Konami wanted to feature a duel between Girag and Alito in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal as late as episode 132, only for the duel to be cut short? While Alito and Girag had good dynamics as characters, the duel itself felt... underwhelming. The main issue seemed to be with pacing and timing, likely because the production team was rushing to transition to Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V as quickly as possible. However, I want to focus on the duel itself, as it had several glaring problems. Breakdown of Episode 132's Duel: Turn 1 - Alito's Setup: Alito started strong by summoning a monster and setting two cards. This was a promising beginning, setting the stage for an engaging back-and-forth. Turn 2 - Girag's Chaos Number Summon: On Girag's turn, he immediately summoned his Chaos Number monster, but the duel skipped over any explanation of how or why he did this. Normally, Rank-Up Magic cards are a major focus, both mechanically and narratively, in Zexal. Yet here, the writers didn’t even bother to have Girag say the signature Rank-Up Magic line, which was a huge missed opportunity. It felt like the writers were rushing, assuming the audience would just accept the Chaos Number without question, undermining the impact of the moment. Turn 3 - Alito's Summoning Confusion: By Alito's next turn, things got even more confusing. Alito summoned a second "Big Bandage" monster, but the mechanics behind this move weren’t explained. What spell card did he use to meet the conditions for Girag's original "Mythiran Number"? Was DNA Surgery involved? If so, why wasn’t this clarified? The lack of explanation left viewers in the dark, making the duel feel incomplete and poorly thought-out. What Went Wrong: The duel’s rushed pacing and skipped explanations made it feel hollow. Rank-Up Magic, which should have been a key focal point, was barely acknowledged, robbing the duel of emotional weight and strategic intrigue. Additionally, skipping over important mechanics like the conditions for summoning Girag’s monster made the entire sequence feel inconsistent and sloppy.
that duel was offscreened because the only thing they wanted out of that duel was returning girag to his original self, which could only happen by destroying c106 with his number 64. there was no need to show more from a writing perspective
I know Reggie is a minor character, but I hope one day Konami releases her cards with an upgrade.
Didn't even remember that these two dueled each other before. Nice duel.
