I was a victim of my first team killing today (just started this week). While fighting a snowball. It was the classic surrounded mech that dies, and suddenly everybody is hitting each other. Small laser to the left torso when I was running XL and had no armor.

@@shagged-kf7nj Love the enthusiasm, but all I really care about is the composition of the teams weight-wise. I have a excel sheet I created that automatically creates this by just entering some basic info like the abbrev. for each mech from each team; takes about 2 min. That would take way too long and I just don't think it's super interesting. You may think it's cool. Maybe you should add that info for each daily dose.

Hi, Baradul. Always nice to watch your videos! You are right (15:20) if I want to get a quick kill, I should target the one with only 30% HP. But I wanted to get both the MAD and the BSW, and when I targeted the MAD I saw he only has 2 medium lasers which are useless against an assassin, so I prioritized the BSW, and almost got him at the end of the game.

Mad cat mkii. My favourite mech since the very first time I played mechwarrior. It was 17 years ago. Now my madcat, running 75kph, with dual CUAC20 & quad Heavy med laser.
I wouldn't mind seeing some Batchall at the start of a round before the main body engages or honors the result of the batchall. By Gork and Mork, that was some crazy good Dakka! War crime? I've lost more than 3 points of armor just brushing up against someone while walking. His number was just up... RIP. Excellent Video. Keep the Dakka coming. For the Boyz!
My preferred build is 2 UAC 10s and 2 LB 10s. It hits so much harder and with the LB 10s the heat management is better. Also LBs have crit chances and they have the same damage and they are one of my favorites. Also AC (regardless of type) 10s are more efficient damage per ton of ammo. So I like the LB 10s instead of the UAC 5s. But both builds work great.
Yeah, sometimes when they get disconnected, it makes them walk forward in the direction they were going.. depending on their spawn point, they usually end up walking out of bounds..
Guys, you need 22 skill points to unlock the magazine capacity and UAC jam cool down nodes. Also, go on PGI's main forum and urge Daeron (don't harass though) to have someone at PGI to reach out to Baradul for his input. He and TTB put in A LOT of time and effort for this game. They will help make it better.
@@skyvipers It's even worse than that. Combined they have close to 65K subscribers. The number of actual MWO players is between 10 to 20K the last we heard from PGI. If you look at PGI's list of streamers for their last event, they have streamers who don't even show up in Baraduls or TTBs videos. I haven't seen Father Bill in a Baradul video in over a year.
@@karaokeking711 I played when the company who made MWO was IGP, the game use to look way better back then but people with potato computers at the time couldn't run the game properly. So they toned it down. It's been what 4 years since the civil war update came out with the new tech, and within that time frame sure they were working on MW5, but lets not get started on that failure. Player Base is dropping, nothing new or any new content hasn't been made in a year or two. The game is getting stale. Sure it still feels a niche need for giant stompy robots, but it's not that great. Their future progression even shows "Possibly for advancing the timeline, and or new monetization to help keep servers up.

Got mine from the loot in the recent events, love it, but got anoyed from the jams, which occur way to much, even if you don't double tap. To mitigate that problem i changed the UAC5 to LBX10. Results in a devastating mixture of the classic MCII-B and TTB's 4LBX10 FAFNIR. I just like that build 😍
It *also* has great hitboxes for spreading damage, *and* is a smaller overall target than many similar weight mechs. It is possibly the best all-around mech in game.
I run exactly this build on my MC IIB, but prefer the 2 10's on the right side and the 5's on the left. Sadly, I don't play MWO very often at all these days, for various reasons. Still enjoy watching your videos, though.
Three team damage one team kill. Your team kill to team damage ratio is weak. Come talk to me when you do two team damage and get four team kills. (Heavy machine guns try and get a bead on the last enemy Mech. Swept the area and got five kills four team and the last guy of the other team. When I check my team damage I done two. Heavy machine guns they are op. I did screenshot it but that was a computer ago.
I'm always scared to go just arms, especially on such an obvious target. Great (second game!) when they're not focusing on you! I have some lasers in the torsos on this one...awesome videos and insights, as always!
My main mech is madcat mkii-2, the main weapon on the arms are not that much of a problem when the mech is agile & fast. My highest kill is 8 in a single match. Running 75kph, with dual lbx 20 & dual srm4.
This is a classic, but the 10s jam on me a lot so do 4 uac 5s and 2 hevy meds. That way all the ammo is the same and I can go with a larger engine. Have fun!

Baradul subscriber count doesn't really matter. What you want are full video views, comments, and both likes and dislikes. Since those last two count the same to the algorithm.
there are already clan and innersphere assault mechs with armmounted ballistics + ECM you can get for cbills ... why would one want a pay to play hero variant of the madcat 2 just for the ECM? there MIGHT however be a case of if it were to keep the ballistic hardpoints the B variant has it could be OP and border on P2W (or BE P2W) cause most of the mechs that have armmounted ballistic hardpoints have them way bellow cockpithight and innerspheremechs can not bring the same dps or range like the Madcat b variant could coupled with its mobility ... soooo for a clanmech it either should have only one hardpoint on each arm or be squishier and no JJs ..
@@MrTBSC I can't name a clan battle mech with high ballistic arm mounts and ECM. The closest that comes to mind is a blood asp and the best it can do for dakka is 2 10s and 1 20. That's an okay omni mech but it's super big and torso hitboxes stink.
@@Hierax415 the bloodasp by its own variant does not have armounted ballistics with ECM it primarily has high torsomounted ballistics and that is a doubleedged sword similar with the madcat 2´s and timberwolf´s highmounted missile hardpoints .. with the blooadasp you can at best get ecm with one armmounted ballistic through use of omnipods but in that case it would be like the marauder 2 were its ballistic arm would be below the cockpit .. otherwise the one mech that i think "could" come close-ish to the madcats dps might be a ECM Nightstar with dual UAC5s and dual Rac 2s .... ... it has its arms on cockpithight but it´s still quite a broad mech though

Game 1 illustrated this perfectly. If you had ECM you could've sat on the far ramp and they would never have seen you. If you had the burst you would've ripped the side torso from that Atlas

This is a huge issue if using clan LRMs or ATMs because they stream fire. Of course, your team mates will blame you for their stupidity. Glad you guys joked about it. Going to sound strange, but I have turned the same mech into a hyper focused destroyer. 2 ER heavy large lasers. 2 gauss rifles... Its nasty.

Only slightly better dps but worse burst than the BASP. And the blood asp has ECM. Not king of the dakka
Game 1 illustrated this perfectly. If you had ECM you could've sat on the far ramp and they would never have seen you. If you had the burst you would've ripped the side torso from that Atlas
3 team damage and its a kill?! Bogus. It's amazing how much team mates interrupt your field of fire and get hit by friendly fire. This is a huge issue if using clan LRMs or ATMs because they stream fire. Of course, your team mates will blame you for their stupidity. Glad you guys joked about it. If that were me, I'd be bitched at for the rest of the match.

it's not that great it's just the glitch the autos create and that shit should be fixed at some point so then it'll be average dakka :p

@@mike-dz8ms You can achieve the same or higher dmg output with 4 lb10 CP or u5u10 dakka build on ANH but with HIGHER durability due to armor/structure quirks unless the driver happens to be a total prick who don't know how to pilot a meta mech properly.
