- We're going low and slow on some burnt ends, the poor man's way (since buying the NOMAD drained my wallet 😂). This would be the perfect recipe to whip up on a down day at the campsite, when you've got some time to kill and really want to eat good!

I've cooked a small amount the way he did n ur right minimal smoke. But soaking the pecan wood for several hours in water and placed on the coals did add more smoke but that was on only 2 cooks.
This dude is the Bob Ross of cooking
Absolutely gorgeous. Changed my opinion on these kinds of smokers.
I've really been loving it! Super versatile and the quality shows!
Did the wood add smoke at all? I saw no smoke when you opened it and no charing on the wood.
Same thing I saw. Should have put the wood on top of the coals
On my nomad, I've found a handful of pellets directly on the coals works best.
Or, soak the wood in water before you use it...
Very nice smoker. Love the idea of a down day at camp and using the smoker for some great food !
I can’t wait for the fire bans to lift so I can really put it to the test! Thanks man 🙏
This type of charcoal can be put out with water and reused. Just make sure it’s completely dry before reusing.
Ben, thanks so much for the review. I don't know if I'm sold on the grill/smoker yet as I have a 14" Weber Smokey Mountain, it would be hard to justify the $600 Nomad to the CFO unless I stage a smoker-specific burglary :) but I am going to try your recipe!
Gotta save those charcoals because it is $36 for a 10 lb bag. By the way those 6 briquets how much do those weigh? Gives me a idea how many I would get in a 10 lb bag
Always wood on coals. Always. Good review tho 👍
God bless them fingers sir great recipe 👌
Cool Channel bro (Was Odin) That food looks hella good
you got a great voice bro, you should try out for voice over or ebook jobs ;)
Off topic but, how's the double sided tape on your snorkel holding up?
Hey man! Still going strong! Was out in Utah this past week and had 40mph winds and heavy rain, it’s seen plenty of car washes, and even snow! No issues to speak of!
friend, where can I buy such a grill?
Is there an easy way to refill the charcoal during the cook?
Great question, I would say you have to take that grate off to do it.
Grill is way too expensive. I’ll wait til the knock offs hit the market.
Chuck steak 🥩 ain’t cheap no mo! Just get the ribeye next time.
The color of that meat on the inside compared to the outside is kind of strange. Am I trippin?
