I had the tremendous honor of meeting these guys on my birthday on a show in the city I was born in... They wanted weed and the dude who organised the show is a friend of mine so he asked me to fix them some joints.. Got an autographed LP of this album, a free T shirt and I spent 2 hours with these guys backstage... Dennis is the reason I started playing drums 21 years ago so all these facts combined are just... Beyond perfect
I love Macabre's old stuff up to like Dahmer, Sinister Slaughter is one of my favorite albums ever and the Shitlist demo is just perfect. And i really wanted to hate this when i saw it, but i can't stop listening to this fucking album. it's so god damn cheesy but the amount of information they throw at you in their lyrics, while maybe a little much sometimes, is so fucking cool. AND THESE FUCKING RIFFS DUDE. Shit's all over the place and it sounds soooo goooooood. If you don't like Macabre, then fuck you, I don't like you.
I love the song about Emperor Nero, although he never set fire to Rome as the song says. He was hundreds of miles away when it happened. He definitely blamed it on the Christians, though, and people started to accuse him of starting the fire because of all the extra taxes he imposed to pay for the damages. It's also true that he sentenced lots of Christians to be fed to starving animals in the Circus and burned them alive as street lamps.
Thank you for this!! I read somewhere that one dude just showed up at the guitarist`s door steep and asked if he could join the band?! Not sure if that is true or not. Still love this band after all these years!!! Please, support the band and buy something : ) A friend from Norway. PS! i saw them live in Oslo (they sure rocked my liver).
Love the Mayhem joke if that's what you meant, and they have great momentum going right now! "Esoteric Warfare" was so good, and this upcoming Mayhem album will really be something. Cheers from Oklahoma ,U.S.A. !

Damn, why is the Chorus on The Black Knight so damn catchy that it turns into an Earworm?
I love Macabre for this Shit xD
The song is scary and comical at the same time. And of course educational. Well done!

sounds like hes in agonizing pain.
and those fun cheerful parts...they could open for the wiggles perhaps

Maldición... Me encanto.
Awesome , perfection liric and rift are macabre and armonic
Why does this version of big bad wolf sound different than other versions?
, great album, macabres way of setting a mood rivals even iron maiden
The upload is much quieter compared to that of Tech Death Time, but in which there are again gaps between the songs.
treasure metal.
