Fiddlesticks repeats the last words of people it's killed, as well as people's fears. It's VA did a video on how he did the voice and it's like, 95% voice actor/5% effects.
When Fids says "brother" to Garen, he's imitating Lux (who is a mage in a city that bans mages) When Fids says "brother" to Yasuo, he's imitating Yone Fiddlesticks is able to take people's fears from their subconscious and use them against that person. If someone has a deep psychological trauma, Fids uses that as a weapon. "Annie help me" is Fids taunting Annie over the death of her step sister "All your fault" is Fids taunting Jinx over the deaths of Milo, Clagger, and Vander etc etc
To think the only reason Arcane exists as the series we know today it's just because Christian Linke happened to like the style of a certain unkown french studio known as Fortiche. He decided to work together with them and produce the Get jinxed music video.
Ryze is an ancient mage that witnessed the power of the World Runes 1st hand , his former master was collecting them and sucumbed to their influence making him lose his mind and so Ryze had to stop him. The vision we see most likely is the destruction of his homeland which was the result of the World Runes ( he is from the north of Noxus , now there is only a giant crater left behind that looks like a gulf ). He had lived for centuries and is sustained in a way by his proximity to the runes , but seems to be the only person able to resist their power. At this point he only wants to find the World Runes and lock them away somewhere where other mortals cannot find them and to finally end his journey and "fade away". He is beyond tired . The World Runes are basically magical tools used by the Celestials ( basically gods ) to shape the planet of Runeterra.
Adding to this. Ryze was born north of Noxus, but his master (teacher) found him and his Runic magic is a rare magic. Brought him to the Blessed Isles to learn but was slow in teaching him. Ryze was on the Blessed Isles during the Ruination and found one of the World Runes within the Sacred Waters there with the help of a still liveing Thresh (Before the undead form), which the blessed waters were corrupted when Viego placed Isolde's corpse within it. He knew Kalista and was friends with her as well when she was alive. He escaped the Blessed/Shadow Isles after the ruination explosion which destroyed the isles. All is explained in the Ruination novel.
Yoné actually subdues the demon spirit he was fighting, but not before it attached itself permanently to him. It is trapped in the mask he now wears and can't take off. Yoné is in control, but he feels the demon all the time and worries that it might one day take over his body. On the flip side, he now has the power to trap all demon spirits in masks and other objects. He wanders Runeterra as a somewhat immortal demon hunter, fighting and trapping evil spirits so that they can't feed on others.
So about Yone Yasuo drama. Riven was escaping Noxus and she had a powerful blade made by the black rose. Since Riven wanted to get rid of her past life she went to Yasuo s master and asked that master to destroy the blade. Blade proved to be too powerful and when it shattered it killed Yasuo s master. All that happened while Yasuo decided to participate in the war instead of guarding his master like he was told to. So since his master was killed by the wind technique (Riven s blade) and Yasuo was the only one who could use it besides his master. People accused Yasuo of killing his own master and Yone as well as many other swordsman were sent to bring Yasuo to justice. Later on Riven said what really happened when she was on trial.
Yess the one at the end of the yasuo / yone vid is ahri, you are right! That is actually the beginning of “The ruined king”, a (very good) league lore game. Ryze is basically the protagonist of Runeterra imo. He literally searches for the most powerful objects in Runeterra (The World Runes) and locks them away so that nobody else uses them to cause havoc and destruction. Yasuo story is that he was supposed to stay with his Master Suma during the Ionian/Noxus war but he didn't stay with him because he wanted to fight. And as u saw, Yone also insisted on him staying with his master. Master Suma ended up being killed and since there was wind magic on his corpse (or smth like that) they accused Yasuo to kill his master (He didn't actually do it). Noxus is always invading everyone around them, so I would expect surrounding regions to be covered in a Noxus series.

I'd say it's a what if cinematic but technically it's canon since each different skin line belong to their own separated continuity from the main one in runeterra.
funfact about fiddle. If he meets other demons, he calls them out by their name. Its a bit of a flex by him as knowing the name of a demon enables u to banish them (seen in yasuo and yones story). Also if he kills a demon he call out what emotion they feed on. Nocturne - Nightmares ; Evelynn - Agony; Tham Kench - Addiction; and a hidden one: Raum - Secrets. The reason fiddle calls swain "raum" is that swain and the Demon Raum made a pact so raum gave swain some powers for his body.
I'm Mono Yasuo, unfortunately this character haunts me, I try to play with another champion but it doesn't work, I always go back to playing with him at some point.
I just love that you’re embracing the lore and genuinely finding intrigue in its complexities. I’m so hyped for you to get to the seasonal cinematics like Warriors and Awaken but also the musical groups like K/DA and True Damage 🙌🏻
Ryze is one of the coolest characters in the lore. I’m low key hoping they eventually do a sort of Avengers thing where a bunch of the characters from the different shows have to come together. I think if they do that they will use Ryze as the kind of “Nick Fury” of league. His whole thing is traveling around the world so he could be the one who brings a bunch of characters together.
As others mentioned, Fiddle repeats lines from other people, either from traumatic moments from their past or something they themselves said. The only exception is the other demons - Tahm Kench, Evelyn, Nocturne - in which case Fiddlesticks addresses them by name or by whatever their domain is (Addiction, Agony and Nightmares, respectively). However, when he meets Swain, who gained power from Raum, the Demon of Secrets, he talks to Raum instead. That has... some dark implications, because one of the big worries that Swain and people surrounding him have is that Raum will eventually take him over.
I believe the metallic sound you're hearing is probably the layering of multiple takes. He is doing a low version and a high pitch version, plus some additional wheezing, and the final product is a mix of those takes together with some slight reverb, as you said. At least that's what my ear is picking up.
Runeterra is full of sibling dramas and their doomed or trying to be more "stable" relationships. Vi and Jinx and Yasuo and Yone are one of the few ones. Katarina also has a doomed relationship with her siblings Cassiopeia and Talon (he is adopted to the family but still) and there are many more of these types. At this point at least, the only siblings who have a stable or even an actual wholesome, caring relationship in this world are Darius and Draven and Lux and Garen, maybe we can squish in Vi and Jinx and Yone and Yasuo with how they turned out in the end but yeah, everyone else... nope.
Fiddle copies the last thing it hear to manipulate preys to their doom, When fiddle says "its in the house" fiddlesticks invaded someones home and massacre whatever it see
Even though I never played the games, I became aware of League of Legends with Trailers, promos and GMV's. It was partly that and partly the promotional material for Arcane itself that made me watch it. I really enjoy the show and have started to follow several channels, including yours, because of content on Arcane. You explain things too but I think your enjoyment is the thing that comes through the most, enjoyment is why we watch things. I'm also generally not a reactions video guy, I find so many are so performative. Your reactions feel genuine so it was a joy to watch.
The path is an old Ionian legend of two brothers. Yasuo and Yone happen to be the exact parallel of the legend. Hence why the first trailer is yone in a skin, representing the legend, and the second cinematic is the real timeline. Something like that.
Fiddlesticks calls people brother cuz he voices that champions biggest fear out to them. A lot of champions biggest fear is having their family hate them, or that their family feels betrayed by them... its kinda like speaking from the perspective of a loved one
Fiddle is basically the prime demon of League's world He is the nightmare fuel of runterra. Also the scarecrow is not Fiddle. U can see many eyes in that scarecrow's cage or whatever that is, the eyes are fiddle, scarecrow is just a vessel.
You should react to Kindred’s teaser and voicelines! They’re one of the universally agreed best designed champs with the most beautiful voice lines and theme. They’re like the grim reaper of the world and take the shape of a wolf and lamb
Well, since you know now, what happens between Yasuo and Yone, i would recommend "Confessions of a Broken Blade" comic that is on the League of legends universe page. Its basically story of the real killer, that killed their master. Slight spoiler warning!! So TLDR of the story from the top of my head is Riven, a Noxus warrior with a runic blade was a part of the invasion plans for Ionia. When she saw, how brutal and messy the war is, she decided to give up and live a peacefull life in Ionia now. So she wanted to destroy the runic blade to "seal the deal" but the blade was indestructable. She found a master that deals with wind techniques (Yasuo's master) and he agreed to help her destroy the blade. The destroying of the blade went wrong and ended killing the master. The blade was now successfully broken apart, but could still be reforged with runic powers by Riven if she decided that she needs it . Yasuo got accused by killing the master, because he was supposed to guard him while other students and folks go and fight for Ionia against Noxus invasion. (That was the argument the brothers had in this cinematic that you watched in one of the flashbacks) . Yasuo didn't listen to his brother and secretly went to fight for Ionia, leaving his master unguarded. When he returned he found master dead, so he went looking for whoever killed him. When the rest of his school returned, they also found their master dead, killed with wind technique and Yasuo, who was supposed to guard him was nowhere to be found. So they thought that he killed him and runed away. And that's when this cinematic kicks in. The story has a continuation comic called "Sisterhood of War". Where, if i remember correctly, Noxus and the people that forged her runic blade want that blade back now, and bring her back to Noxus to face the consequences for deserting the war. I wrote that from my memory and did not fact-checked anything so please feel free to correct me bellow. The story of Ionian invasion and the aftermath is one of my favorite league lore stories and contains a ton of league champions in it, so feel free to check it out on league universe page.
I have to correct myself. It was not a comic, it was a short story. And the story i explained probably happened before the story i think, so you can read it for context
Hi Aisha ! Fiddlestick's VA actually recorded the voicelines by prounouncimg the words while taking in breath, which is a bit special and needs a lot practice but there is no more strain on the vocal chords then normal speaking , just a reversed air flow =D
The yone cinematics isn't actually Yone. It's a canon myth story on the land of Ionia, and Yone is the manifestation of it or a myth comes true story. That's why he looks differently as human form but his demon form looks like the guy in the myth
Fiddlesticks is a demon, it's just evil. It mocks its prey. By the way, in the original lore, Ryze is basically the main character of the world. Or was? Or maybe he'll be introduced one day. Also, about that Ryze part seeing the destruction of a city.. some theorized that's what Heimerdinger had experienced and why he was afraid of the Hexcore when he saw it.
to explain so much about yone and yasuo could be a spoiler for the future shows. since they are related to the noxian invasion to ionia. and this invasion/war its a very important moment in the history of runeterrra. but long story short, yasuo had always been a very talented swordsman in the wind technique (and very kinda stupid), during the invasion he was supposed to protect his master instead of go fight in the war. he abbandon his post and when he come back his master was dead by a wind technique so every though it was yasuo and start hunting him (he is guilty by leave his job not by killing his master) thats why he and yone fight, and since yasuo was more skilled he kill'd yone. pretty much all the demons in runeterra are related to emotions. like fiddlesticks is fear he is a primal demon, yone's demon is called azakana (a inferior class of demons) and its related to the grief. yasuo''s demon was related to his sorrow, thats why the demon says 'as long as he lives i'll come back"
You're saying that they gotta pick between Noxus or Ionia for a new show, but the great thing about it is that you don't have to. One of the biggest events in the whole lore of league is Noxus invading Ionia. It involves so many characters, so much is intertwined, it's just crazy, I'm honestly not sure how they're supposed to adapt all that if they ever decide to. I really recommend you watch Necrit for more in-depth look into the lore, he's the ultimate lore master of league, so much so that Riot added him as a historian character in one of their games.
It's easy to recognize Runeterra characters when you think all Riot's games are about fighting. Every hero has a unique fighting style. The styles are consistent throughout games and skins.
Usually other skins have literally nothing to do with the lroe and should just be ignored if you are looking for narrative. But oftentimes when riot spent a lot of money to make cinematics in the past it was to promote skins in order to get the money back. Like the whole purpose of the cinematics from a business perspective is to sell skins. Thats why the different skins come up in cinematics sometimes even when there is lore being told.

It's part of a Guardians of the Galaxy themed universe. I'd say it's a what if cinematic but technically it's canon since each different skin line belong to their own separated continuity from the main one in runeterra.
@@Matiasfv hmmm is that where the Odyssey Jinx skin cones from 👀
@@artxroyalty Well... yeah, that's the one hahaha
funfact about fiddle.
38:04 im pretty sure its inspired by it to some extend. they also used "be prepared" for example in the Pentakill - Mortal Reminder music video x:
I'm Mono Yasuo, unfortunately this character haunts me, I try to play with another champion but it doesn't work, I always go back to playing with him at some point.
I just love that you’re embracing the lore and genuinely finding intrigue in its complexities. I’m so hyped for you to get to the seasonal cinematics like Warriors and Awaken but also the musical groups like K/DA and True Damage 🙌🏻
Omg I can’t wait to get more into the music!
Ryze is one of the coolest characters in the lore. I’m low key hoping they eventually do a sort of Avengers thing where a bunch of the characters from the different shows have to come together. I think if they do that they will use Ryze as the kind of “Nick Fury” of league. His whole thing is traveling around the world so he could be the one who brings a bunch of characters together.
oh hell nah i hope they never do this lmao
As others mentioned, Fiddle repeats lines from other people, either from traumatic moments from their past or something they themselves said. The only exception is the other demons - Tahm Kench, Evelyn, Nocturne - in which case Fiddlesticks addresses them by name or by whatever their domain is (Addiction, Agony and Nightmares, respectively). However, when he meets Swain, who gained power from Raum, the Demon of Secrets, he talks to Raum instead. That has... some dark implications, because one of the big worries that Swain and people surrounding him have is that Raum will eventually take him over.
Fiddlestick VA is just a mad lad there is little sfx added to it exept for the "metalic" and reverb parts
I believe the metallic sound you're hearing is probably the layering of multiple takes. He is doing a low version and a high pitch version, plus some additional wheezing, and the final product is a mix of those takes together with some slight reverb, as you said. At least that's what my ear is picking up.
Jderv actually is the singer of get jinxed who is also the singer for rebel heart. One of the songs from arcane season 2!
fun fact if u didnt know, jinxs gun BIGGGGA gun she uses in s2 is named rhino after the rhinos in this song
At this point at least, the only siblings who have a stable or even an actual wholesome, caring relationship in this world are Darius and Draven and Lux and Garen, maybe we can squish in Vi and Jinx and Yone and Yasuo with how they turned out in the end but yeah, everyone else... nope.
Fiddle copies the last thing it hear to manipulate preys to their doom,
When fiddle says "its in the house" fiddlesticks invaded someones home and massacre whatever it see
If memory serves, Yasuo was framed by a certain red-headed femme fatale assassin you've already met.
Actually, there're no effects, I'ts the voice actor doing it all
There is layering of multiple takes and a slight reverb added. But yeah, otherwise, everything sounds plausibly like it could be produced naturally.
There’s got be some kind of effects even if minor lol but regardless it’s very impressive!
Jinx is my Bestie/Waifu 💕
@@LeagueofLux we love her 💙
The path is an old Ionian legend of two brothers.
Fiddle is basically the prime demon of League's world
He is the nightmare fuel of runterra.
Also the scarecrow is not Fiddle. U can see many eyes in that scarecrow's cage or whatever that is, the eyes are fiddle, scarecrow is just a vessel.
YIPPEE IONIA CINEMATICS!!! I'm so glad i recommend them! ❤
@@No1fan15 they were top tier! Yone and Yasuo are VERY interesting and I need to see them in a series ASAP

@@Drewe223 it’s been a fun deep dive so far!

The artist nearly lost his voice doing fiddlesticks
If you want to see a little more about Yasuo and Ahri's journey, watch the Ruined King videos.
Well, since you know now, what happens between Yasuo and Yone, i would recommend "Confessions of a Broken Blade" comic that is on the League of legends universe page. Its basically story of the real killer, that killed their master.
Slight spoiler warning!!
So TLDR of the story from the top of my head is
Riven, a Noxus warrior with a runic blade was a part of the invasion plans for Ionia.
And the story i explained probably happened before the story i think, so you can read it for context
so if you got deep in to yasuo/yone lore you will see thats actually black rose fault these two are fighting, its a small world
Black rose is hardly NOT involved at big events of runeterra 🤣
@@MsSpaceGamers why does it feel like Leblanc or the Black Rose is always involved?? 😂
Hi Aisha !
Fiddlestick's VA actually recorded the voicelines by prounouncimg the words while taking in breath, which is a bit special and needs a lot practice but there is no more strain on the vocal chords then normal speaking , just a reversed air flow =D
@@69quato that’s insane 😯
The yone cinematics isn't actually Yone. It's a canon myth story on the land of Ionia, and Yone is the manifestation of it or a myth comes true story. That's why he looks differently as human form but his demon form looks like the guy in the myth
Fiddlesticks is a demon, it's just evil. It mocks its prey. By the way, in the original lore, Ryze is basically the main character of the world. Or was? Or maybe he'll be introduced one day.
Also, about that Ryze part seeing the destruction of a city.. some theorized that's what Heimerdinger had experienced and why he was afraid of the Hexcore when he saw it.
to explain so much about yone and yasuo could be a spoiler for the future shows. since they are related to the noxian invasion to ionia. and this invasion/war its a very important moment in the history of runeterrra.
but long story short, yasuo had always been a very talented swordsman in the wind technique (and very kinda stupid), during the invasion he was supposed to protect his master instead of go fight in the war. he abbandon his post and when he come back his master was dead by a wind technique so every though it was yasuo and start hunting him (he is guilty by leave his job not by killing his master) thats why he and yone fight, and since yasuo was more skilled he kill'd yone.
pretty much all the demons in runeterra are related to emotions. like fiddlesticks is fear he is a primal demon, yone's demon is called azakana (a inferior class of demons) and its related to the grief. yasuo''s demon was related to his sorrow, thats why the demon says 'as long as he lives i'll come back"
Trust me, you really want to see all of Runeterra!
A 2-in-1 is even better 😅
It's easy to recognize Runeterra characters when you think all Riot's games are about fighting. Every hero has a unique fighting style. The styles are consistent throughout games and skins.
Yone is one of the most satisfying champions to play.
also fiddle mimics final words of there victims and thats all the va no effects
Usually other skins have literally nothing to do with the lroe and should just be ignored if you are looking for narrative. But oftentimes when riot spent a lot of money to make cinematics in the past it was to promote skins in order to get the money back. Like the whole purpose of the cinematics from a business perspective is to sell skins. Thats why the different skins come up in cinematics sometimes even when there is lore being told.
@@skipp3252 I figured! It’s just a little confusing for new comers who may not know much about the game. All we see is the same character looking drastically different…just a bit confusing 😅
Canonically both the wind brothers are furries lol. Yassuo develops feelings for Ahri later in their travels together and Yone (while not confirmed but highly shipped) meets a dream spirit named Lillia (half deer lady) who he really "likes" and wants to protect.
Listen…I understand with Ahri 😅
You hear Fiddlesticks voice line D:
You don't play League of Legends :D
You don't play League of Legends D:
Ryze's cinematic is one of my favorites, he's one of the best characters in the lore (but I hate his gameplay)
His voice lines are the last things his victims said. That is in the house line is the worst for me.
Also he has a cute theme too with a mother and a daughter singing
Reminds me of skinwalkers. Mimicking and using their victims voices to lure people in.
