Thank you Harri. Warren Haynes is one of my go to musicians. His band Gov't Mule is outstanding. As always Playing For Change does more to bring people together than any other musical movement. There is nothing but joy and acceptance. The indigenous drum circle and singers are Lakota their ancestral lands were at the upper end of the Mississippi River region but were later forced into the Great Plains area. I, myself, am Metis which is a First Nations peoples that are descended from, in my case, French colonials and the Ojibwe peoples. Anyway, thanks for the reaction. This is a fave song of mine and PFC does it true justice. Nice to see the Neville family. New Orleans royalty. Oh. John Densmore on drums was so cool to see!!
This is just beautiful. Love all the added instruments that round out this tune. The drums, harmonica, keyboards add so much dimension to an already perfect tune. The vocals stupendous.Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Adam. Wonderful. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Harri .. I was first introduced to Playing For Change about 15 years ago with their version of Stand By Me. It's must watch/listen! I'm going to right now! And I'll be sharing the link to this one, All Along the Watchtower! Phenomenal!
That's Cyril Neville doing those vocals of the Mighty Mighty Neville Brothers, one of the kindest people I ever met and the one on keyboards......Ivan Neville son of legendary Aaron Neville. Playing for Change rocks my world. So glad you have found them. Join them and support their work.......it is so needed.
Warren Haynes (of Gov't Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, Warren Haynes Band) can do no wrong and too few people/reactors realize that. Always outstanding and always the highlight of the show when he guests for a song or two with other bands or at special events. Check out his take on 'You Lie' from the Dr. John celebration concert and 'Cortez the Killer/Jimi Thing' with The Dave Matthews Band from the Cental Park concert, after that go down the Mule rabbit hole which he's been digging for nearly 25 years now, Beautifully Broken from the Deep End concert would be a good start.
Art Neville on keyboards along with his brother Cyril doing vocals. Playing for Change have been around for about a decade or so. Music from around the World. Look up War / No More Trouble
Playing for change is Amazing...Their recordings are perfect, and their video is on the Nova Rockefeller level. Can't be easy to weave that altogether.

All of the Playing for Change videos are quite awesome. Was wondering where Warren Haynes was until he came in well into the song. Just before him we had John Densmore on drums who was the drummer in The Doors.
Adam - Terrific submission from one of my favorite music sources, Playing For Change. Also, a very informative Comment especially about Lakota. Great review, Harri.

Jimi's version has always been my fav but this is also very enjoyable
PFC is incredible. Your next video from them should be "Biko" featuring Peter Gabriel, YoYo Ma, and Angelique Kidjo
