Have we not learned about what happened in our past when religion was law and how Christians basically crucified anyone that didn't follow the word of God as law? That's why church and state were separated for a good reason.
Christ was hung on a cross for challenging the dogma of his time, and siding with the outcasts of society. Later, the christian faith painted his death as a 'sacrifice' to absolve the human race of their guilt regarding what they did to him. If anyone here has seen the Green Mile then I often think that film is a far more powerful tale of Christ than all the dogma in the world.
People in these comments misunderstand that they're only fighting to have their religion represented in schools because Christians are doing it when there needs to be a separation between church and state. If Christians weren't doing it then they wouldn't be.

20 years ago in law school, a Christian Nationalist argued for introducing christian teaching in public schools. I mentioned in discussion that other religions would have to be given access as well such as Moonies, Islamic preachers, etc. The Christian Nationalist ignored my comment and gave me a hard stare back. I see nothing has changed.
The first textbook used in public schools was the Bible. Prayer was removed in the 1960’s. So with all these improvements it can only get better from here.
I’m sorry that happened but not all Christians are bad but we are all human so we do make mistakes but I hate that so many so called Christians have caused others to see them as hateful people when we are supposed to show love and kindness. I have been around plenty of people that called themselves Christians and glad I finally found a church that actually acts like Christians because unfortunately there are plenty of fake judge-mental people that turns people away from the Lord because of their actions.
The bib problem I had with the satanic temple is that the claim that they don’t worship Satan is False. I’ve seen videos of them and there is ritualistic activity and the phrase “hail Satan” being repeated
You don’t allow Christian groups in schools…this should be a NO too. I don’t know about FL but in my state, Christians are not given any extra protections, quite the opposite.
If you were a Hindu or other non Christian , would you want your child learning the Christian religion in public school? That’s the point that the Satanic Temple is making . You don’t want your child learning their version of Satanism
Not only wishing TST the best success with their after school program, I donate to help. Frankly, it’s a great program that all schools should have. And, they fully screen anyone who will have contact/access with children. Something most religious programs don’t do.
Their 7 tenets are good values and they do good work for separation of church and state. I also support their after school program. They only go where religious groups have gone first!

you’re missing the point. They could’ve fought back against christian conservatives without including Satan. The fact they did makes them aggressors more than the “defenders” you think they are. Chaplains were only to be counselors not teachers.
This is what you get for pushing Christianity in schools. Christian overreach needs to be stamped out. Education about all world religions can be a good thing, but schools should stay fully clear of religious teachings.
Tax the church and use that make those taxes pay for free Christian school that religious families can choose to send their kids to. What do you think the church will say to this?
This is exactly what the Bible tells us that the Last Days of Satans rule on earth will look like , Good is evil and evil is good . What this means is that Jesus return is very near , trust Jesus and be saved from the wrath to come !
I just posted the same comment about evil being good in these days lol. So sad all the hate against Christians but one thing is for sure the Bible is definitely real because it predicted everything that is happening now breaks my heart so many people are filled with such hate towards the Lord who gave His blood for our sins so that we could all live with Him in eternity. Really sad because whenever He proves Himself to everyone they will still have such hard heart and chose satan over Him and that will be something you can’t come back from at that point. All we can do is pray and show His love and grace until then .
There's nothing inherently wrong with religion. Not with being a Christian. The issue is too many people are using Christianity as a shield for their bigotry and hate. They have made it political. Sadly, they are one of the main reasons for so many leaving the faith. They are destroying what they claim to love.
@@Vates104 and wouldn’t it be great if people actually knew what the definition of the separation of church and state actually meant: it has nothing to do with the idea of not teaching religion to children or adults, it is simply saying that the state or government cannot favor one religion over another; hence, Germany favors Lutheranism, England favors Anglicanism, Italy favors Catholicism. The founding fathers families came from Europe, therefore, they wanted this new state not to favor one religion over another, and that’s the separation. If cult Christians want to push there biblecult than we saintist allowed to teach our realigion. 😅
Thank you ❤
Blessed is the man that walkth not in the counsel of the ungodly

The devil is well real and god is not stronger their equal that’s why you have so much bad in the world
This is whyt the Founding Fathers deemed *ALL* religions unfit for modern, civil governance.
The *1st Amendment's Establishment Clause* prohibits the government from making any law, _“respecting an establishment of religion.”_
This clause not only forbids the government from establishing an official religion, but also prohibits government actions that unduly favor one religion over another. It also prohibits the government from unduly preferring religion over non-religion.
*Constitution Article VI Supreme Law - Clause 3 Oaths of Office*
_"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; _*_but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."_*
This means nobody is ever required to swear to a god or on the Bible, or any other religious book for an oath of office. They may choose a god or religious book, but none is required.
Thomas Jefferson and Calvin Coolidge did not use a Bible in their oath-taking ceremonies. Theodore Roosevelt did not use the Bible when taking the oath in 1901, nor did John Quincy Adams, who swore on a book of law, with the intention that he was swearing on the constitution.
_"In this enlightened age and in this land of equal liberty, _*_it is our boast,_*_ that a man's religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest offices that are known in the United States."_
*-George Washington* (To the Members of the New Jerusalem Church of Baltimore, 27 January 1793)
_“The United States is not a Christian nation any more than it is a Jewish or Mohammedan Nation.”_
*- John Adams* (American statesman, attorney, diplomat, writer, Founding Father & 2nd president)
_“...the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion."_
*-Treaty of Tripoli - June 7, 1797. Signed by President John Adams & Ratified UNANIMOUSLY, by the Senate June 10, 1797*
....only a few times in history the Senate unanimously agreed on anything.
A 2018 Supreme Court Ruling re-affirmed this statement, from The Treaty of Tripoli.
The Supreme Court released an opinion on May 14, 2018 in Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Assn., 584 U. S. (2018), Justice Thomas in his concurring opinion wrote:
_"The Treaty of Tripoli was passed by the Senate and signed into law by President John Adams. As such, it is a "legislated text" which must be read "textually". The lower courts in this case read a hypothetical legislative intention into the text by dismissing Article 11 as "a mere formality". The language itself makes a clear direct statement that _*_our government is not based on the Christian religion and any attempt by a government official to represent our government as Christian contradicts the text and the historical understanding of our founders."_*
_"Who does not see that the same authority which can establish Christianity, in exclusion of all other Religions, may establish with the same ease any particular sect of Christians, in exclusion of all other Sects?"_
*- James Madison 4th president* (A Memorial And Remonstrance, On The Religious Rights Of Man: Written In 1784-85)
After the human race tortured his son to death for preaching tolerance, love and equality, I would not blame him one bit if he turned his back on the lot of us.
@janesgems7 Well said....
_“When Jesus Christ came upon the Earth, you killed Him. The son of your own God. And only after He was dead did you worship Him and start killing those who would not.”_

(Shawnee chief & warrior who promoted resistance to the expansion of the United States onto Native American lands)

NewsFlash!
Can we all just be intellectually honest for a minute and admit that Christianity and Conservatism hasn’t been popular or influential in our school system in like the last 30 plus yrs!
It never has been popular with Communists.
@@karnubawax Or intellectuals.
Apparently I'm a Satanist lol. We live in ridiculous times
No one sees what hot water we're in. No one sees that the writings of Revelations are on our very walls Jesus is the doorway to salvation he is the way the truth and the light, please do not subjugate yourself to forces of damnation it will cost you everything.
That’s quite the word salad.
Good to see them fighting for the seperation from the church
The end is near. Repent ☦
hail satan
Amen🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
i repent to satan alone
separation of church and state does not mean religion can not exist in government or in schools, just that the state can not enforce a religion or vice versa. i dont get what people cant understand
Hence, if one can exist in schools, they all can. That’s the whole point, what is your problem?
@@tstuio - If you put Jesus Christ and Satan on the same playground together you will get a crucified Christ and a new 📅 calendar.
My friend made a typo and we have been worshipping some guy named "Stan" for a while now...
Religious freedom
bro who tf would want this
Patriots who live this country, the Constitution, and especially religious freedom.
That's what they get for opening this ridiculous can of worms of forcing people to defer to religion in schools and government. And I'm a Christian
What about Muslim chaplains, Jewish chaplains, hindu chaplains, Buddhist chaplains,
