sexy car, but im feeling like the stock wheels were looking better tbh, the gun metal switch up would be nice but those wheels an tires look far to small for the car, maybe a couple inches larger would suit the look better. although all around that car is a absolute beaut an at the price SHEEEEEESH

My first car back in the 90's was a FWD Ford Telstra Ghia then my 2nd car was RWD 1989 180SX and I still have it since 2000, my recent is a 1994 E36 325i I love the old cars.

here in Europe there used to be an supercharger kit directly from Toyota back than. they used to be build be TTE, with it, they would make about 150kW with warranty. Never understood the is200, because BMW had just the better cars in this price range and reliably is about the same. The coolest part about those cars is honestly the tachometer.
The 1G-FE throttle body is drive by wire and drive by cable hybrid. The first 75% when pressing gas is driven by the electric motor the rest 25% is driven by the cable. This allows for cruise control, TRC and all the other stuff. The 1G is a pretty bad engine power wise but god damn is it reliable. You can slap on a small turbo kit and run at 14psi and make a safe 300whp without touching anything inside the engine
Love it! It needs big side skirts aero ! Maybe make it a sleeper. I know a guy with a V8 swapped yellow altezza

The 1G-FE is DOHC but has a gear system inside the cam cover. And a single gear on the outside connected to the timing belt. Also how the heck did he find such a clean one for so cheap!!?? Please dont ruin it, its way to clean for that.

Altezza/Is wagon with a sunroof is like extremly rare!! Sadly the 200 with the automatic are soo extremly sloow. U gotta get it supersharged like alot of them went up beeing. Have owned a couple of theese and they are super fun to play with.. the sport version got an lsd. Nice car 👍

Get all the trd options with the oem trd aero kit. Neo bumpers.
When I did my manual swap I removed the shift gear light in the cluster, removed the lens and took matte black vinyl wrap and cut it to fit that area of the cluster. Can’t even tell it was an automatic cluster.

Bro Congrats, really happy to see a Altezza in Sammit's Channel. Just got a RS200 Z Version (manual) months ago and been a blast driving it but comes with few issues but happy to actually owned one.
My mate has a tiny turbo on a 1gfe running 3-4 psi of boost on stock motor, stock injectors and stock ecu. And it grabbed 6th gear on the spot doing a burnout !!!!

Sammit giving crap to the 1G, for all the hate they get they are incredibly strong, I live in Ireland where there are is200’s everywhere, plenty of supercharged and turbo stock engines too, people also use them for diffin which is literally 10 minutes of banging off Rev limiter while doing donuts until the manifold glows and they never seem to break

The 1gfe are twin cam but they use a single cam gear, and the throttle body is a half electric so the throttle is really sloppy in feeling, and running something like a tdo5 (what I have put on mine) you can make around 250 hp on stock ecu with a fcd any more than 300 is when the rods start going, but luckily i haven't had the pleasure to experience It myself 😂
