My wife has a 2006 159 JTS, I always take a long look at it when I see it.
JTS Engines are shit as fuck. The 1,8TBi is the best engine in that 159 for gas fans. The Diesel Engines are prone as fuck, too. I own an 159 2,4jtdm and i paid lots of euros to get that machine running.

Nice but its not a diesel. Look at RPM and listen to the sound. I think its 1,75 TBi ... I have a 159 TBi but with stock engine.

In the beginning you can see that the exhaust has flaps that control how loud it is. This means it could be legal in Germany. Exhausts that are very loud all the time are not legal in most cases, but this really depends on the specific car model and the manufacturer of the exhaust. But as long as an exhaust fulfills regulations for emissions and noise in the specific test scenarios, it can be legal.
