  • Here's a rare finding: A rare late-1980s VHS a.a.p. print (presumably an early "prototype" printing of the Cartoon Moviestars VHS print) of the classic Bugs Bunny/Marvin the Martian cartoon "Haredevil Hare" (1948) with the 1992 Cartoon Network logo appearing briefly at the start and end of the cartoon at the bottom left of the screen, also known as the "final episode" of the pre-1948 Looney Tunes series by release date order on the Turner-owned cable networks Cartoon Network, TBS and TNT prior to the 1996 Time Warner-Turner Entertainment merger, since this is the last cartoon released from the a.a.p. package.
Here's something surprising in the 1992 CN logo tag for this cartoon: Being that this is Marvin the Martian's only cartoon from the a.a.p. package, the CN logo tag for this cartoon strangely enough does mention Marvin the Martian alongside Bugs Bunny as the stars of the cartoon as "Marvin Martian".
Recorded from Cartoon Network Brazil from the mid-2000s (Credit goes to Cool_Cat from Toonzone/Anime Superhero forums for sharing with me this CN LA TVrip of the a.a.p. print of this cartoon).
No copyright infringement intended; WB owns the material, not me.

As far as my knowledge goes, Cartoon Network TBS and TNT began airing some of the post 48 shorts in early 1997 such as Robin Hood Daffy, Horse Hare, Duck Amuck, False Hare, Wearing of the Grin, and others.

Yeah, at least during the years 1956-1996 when Warner Bros. lost ownership of these cartoons to a.a.p. and it's successor companies United Artists, MGM and Turner Entertainment until the 1996 Time Warner-Turner Entertainment merger.
Anyone who grew up watching only the pre-1948 color Looney Tunes over the years would then be surprised in the late-1990s that there are actually more Looney Tunes cartoons produced after July 1948; in fact Cartoon Network back in the late-1990s was even aware of this and therefore at times promoted these post-1948 Looney Tunes cartoons as "new episodes" since back then CN never had the rights to air the other Looney Tunes cartoons outside the a.a.p. package until at least the late-1990s.

Nickelodeon’s broadcasting rights to “Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies” was allocated to Cartoon Network in 1999, when CN began airing the post-1948 color shorts.
