They also become experts at genetic manipulation, and make themselves taller, slimmer, and blue, because they think that looks good and they are obsessed with beauty. They also make themselves faster and more agile than ordinary humans. They keep control over their empire by promising to let others become Orokin like them - if they pass a series of trials. What the Orokin DON'T say is that the trials are impossible for ordinary humans to complete. To be perfectly clear: the Orokin are assholes. The Orokin Empire flourishes and spreads throughout the solar system. They make rapid advances in technology. As they expand, however, the labor needed to keep the empire going becomes too great. A slave labor force is needed, so the Orokin clone some humans and use the clones for slave labor. These clones are the first Grineer. The Orokin purposefully made them with a defect that causes them to degrade if they don't receive regular treatments as a means of keeping control over the Grineer, and it works for a time. Meanwhile, the Orokin seek to expand their territory beyond the solar system. They set their sights on the Tau system. Despite all the breakthroughs, faster than light travel remains impossible. So, the Orokin make Sentients: a race of AI that are designed to be able to adapt to hardships and adversity. They send the Sentients towards Tau at sub-light speeds to prepare the system for human colonization. Part of this preparation is to build a Void Rail - a portal connecting Tau and our solar system for faster travel. This requires a rail in our solar system and one in Tau. After a lot of time, a prototype colony ship with a new means of propulsion is created. It's called the Zariman Ten-Zero, and it is filled with tens of thousands of families. The Zariman sets course for Tau, engages its prototype drive, and vanishes into the Void, which wasn't supposed to happen. This leads the Orokin and everyone in the solar system to believe that the Zariman was lost in an accident. Years later, the Zariman reemerges from the Void. All the adults on-board are dead, and only the children remain. The children, though, have powers, and the Orokin begin experimenting on the children to determine how to harness those powers. During this time, the Void Rail activates, and the Sentients return, having decided to rebel against the Orokin. They prove to be immune to advanced Orokin weapons. Grineer and Dax are slaughtered wholesale as the Sentients take over the solar system piece by piece. In their desperation, the Orokin create a biological weapon called the Infestation - born from a virus that can infect machine as well as living things, and unleash it in the hopes that it will kill the Sentients. It proves impossible to control and is a failure. Somewhere around this time, the Grineer rebel, tired of being sent to die over and over and over again. Ordinarily, their rebellion would have been quickly quashed, but the Orokin's attention is elsewhere. The Orokin discover that inert infested cells can be used to channel the powers of the children from the Zariman, and warframes are created. Warframes give Tenno the ability to use their powers without dying. We become the Orokin's last ditch weapon against the Sentients, and this one actually works. Tenno powers come from the Void, and as it turns out, the Void is poison to Sentients. We beat the Sentients back, driving them back into Tau and then we destroy the Rail, ending their threat. The Orokin decide to hold a massive celebration honoring the Tenno. During this celebration, we kill all the Orokin, causing their empire to collapse. We go to sleep, and don't appear again until the game begins.

Maybe just to add a little more: Margulis the female voice in the audio flashbacks is an orokin scholar who becomes something like a surrogate mother to the children and is burned and scarred by the abilities that they're unable to control. Fearing the children are monsters from the void, the orokin want the children to be destroyed however Margulis refuses. Her partner/lover (male flashback voice) who holds a high position within the orokin empire attempts to convince her to recant and destroy the children. For her refusal she is executed and the children destroy the orokin empire in an to avenge her. Spoilers for the Natah quest but worth revisiting some of the lore and how it relates. Hunhow, the leader of the sentients sacrifices himself to lull the orokin into believing that the sentients are defeated. His plan is to use his daughter Natah, to infiltrate the moon (still in earth orbit at the time) and destroy the Tenno directly. Natah, like the other sentients that were first sent to Tau have been exposed to void energy making them unable to have more children of their own and on infiltrating the moon and finding the Tenno she decides to take on the form of Margulis and raise them as her own children, betraying the sentients.
Eximus spawns - gets absolutely obliterated by direct application of Dread to forehead - Lotus: „A heavy unit is approaching!“ Ah… Warframe in a nutshell 😂
"I'm reading the subtitles not looking at booba" That right there is what separates the ones who get the lore and the ones who don't. It might also explain why the story/lore is so fragmented and poorly explained within *certain* quests, we know what the devs are looking at..
Kind of feels like they added a bit more clear info during the quest than there was initially. Or maybe it is just easier to understand now that I know more of everything. Great job, btw!
When i played most of the quest lines i skipped through the things or didnt pay attention since i only cared about features it unlocks and didnt expect the story to be any relevant/good at some point. I only noticed in some later quest that the story is kinda cool but i didnt want to redo all of it just to know whats going on so this series is great to catch up while also being entertained
love the content! good news once this nightwave ends in two weeks the next one will be stalker themed with a dread augment mod! so should buff up your bow some more
you can mark targets which can make this stuff easier to track. It's G on keyboard, not sure what on a controller. other players can see this mark as well which makes it pretty good for working together. Once down side is that I am pretty sure you will have to make him with each stage of the fight, but at lest it may stop him from just disappearing. And yeah, pathfinding can be a huge issue, it's much worse with some tile sets than others. They keep working on it and cleaning it up but i doubt it will ever not be a bit of an issue. When in doubt I just bring up the big map and hope it give a clue.
Tyl Regor is a really annoying boss fight. He gets much, much worse if you decide to farm Equinox, as he drops her parts. All 8 of them! (Day and night versions of each of the standard warframe parts. Thankfully her main blueprint comes from the market, rather than requiring YET ANOTHER TYL REGOR FIGHT!). His weapon, Ack & Brunt, is really nice - you can pick it up from the Chem Lab at the Dojo.
I know you love your Bow but at some point all weapons top out at some point and there are more powerful weapons, so at some point it would be a good idea to switch, just a thought:)
dread should be able to carry throught the majority of starchart, the dread also will be getting an augment in the next nightwaves. aswell as has the dread has an incarnon she can go for once she unlocks steel path, which is when youd usually have to switch off the dread. its very much a usable, some bows just take less to make good
after youve been playing now for 2 weeks I think its safe to tell you this without being backseating... YOU CAN AIM DOWN SIGHTS. How have you played for this long and not even accidentally used right click?? Aim gliding is one of the best movement tools you have and i have yet to see you even figure out that its possible.. please explore your abilities and button functionality.
@@dimp1y I wouldnt use it for combat like u said it slows down the fight BUT, use it at the end of ur parkour combo, like at 36:50 if u used aim glide after the double jump you would have made it to the next console easily. Hope this helps!

I knew about this but hate that it slows down the fight and feels clunky, so for enjoyment purposes have shelved it on bows completely
