    My upper body has always been weak compared to my lower body so this will really help this off-season. My coach wants me to get stronger on the puck. Thanks 💪

    Hey, do any hockey exercises train triceps and biceps? Because i want to train for muscle and for hockey

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  Рік тому

      Yes, there's a lot of carry over even if we don't do direct tricep and bicep work often. Pressing movements target the triceps quite a bit, and exercises like pull ups will target biceps.

    A tri-set station is the full workout A,B,C? After doing the last triset do you want to do it again 3-4 times?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  5 років тому +2

      You will run through tri-set A for 3-4 rounds, then B and then C. Rest 10-20 secs in between tri-set exercises and rest 2-3 minutes in between full sets.

    Awesome video! I added to this workout Arms Workout (supersets) at the end. Is it Ok? Can I do it two times per week with the multiple variations of exercises? And of course two times per week Legs workout :)

      Hey Marek,
      This workout is already quite high-volume in it training prescription, the arm work at the end in your example is likely too much volume to effectively recover from and would be better placed on it's own day.
      I would only recommend doing this workout once per week as a part of a complete hockey training program design. 💪

    How many times a week would you do this workout? I also want to do the lower body workout. PS, I have practice 3 times a week and games on weekends. Thank you.

      Hey Anthony,
      You would perform this workout only once per week alongside a complete hockey training program design. However, if you're currently in-season you're going to want to take an in-season specific approach, check this out for the best results and so you can have your entire schedule dialed-in: content.leadquizzes.com/lp/QXugEiKjJg

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  3 роки тому

      There would certainly be some carryover, however, it's best for hockey players.

    Would this help me hit harder?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  2 роки тому +1

      If you want to hit harder/not get knocked off the puck -- You'll want a lower body + core workout, not an upper body one 👍

    is this okay to do once a week in season here is my schedule.
    Monday: Speed
    Tuesday: Upper Body
    Wednesday: Lower Body
    Thursday: Conditioning
    Friday: Practice
    Saturday: Power Skate *if possible* or rest day
    Sunday: Game Day

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  2 роки тому

      This schedule is a little excessive, but if you dial your workout volume down as well as ensure your exercise selection is in-season specific it shouldn't be any issue at all 👍
