Thanks, very helpful and clear. Can the qty 4 M12 bolts be reused or do they need to be new to get proper stretch? For the 310 ft-lb torque, I calculated my 235# weight at 16" from the center of the socket should give approx 310 ft-lb (i.e. 310lb/235lb = 1.32; then multiply 1.32 x 1 foot or 12" = 15.84", approx 16" should be pretty close)

While an additional degree of rotation, after the initial torquing, is not required to stretch the aluminum bolts, it is still recommended to use new bolts.

The main thing you need to determine is has it been taken care off. I would want to know how often the oil has been changed and what type of oil has been used. If it was not changed every 5K miles and they are not using full synthetic, I would not be interested. Also has the transmission been serviced in any way. I would hope that the fluid has been changed as well as the tray, which as the filter built in. There are other questions but if the the engine and transmission internals have not been taken care of, walk away.

Did you remove the 4 bolts? If so--use lubricant between the old hub and the axle splines. Let it sit and then try and remove it using a puller. You may also need to get a torch and heat up the old hub to remove it. Keep me updated.
