I have 2 cavaliers and I love them. My boy though he likes to bark at birds. My girl is sweet, quiet and calm all the time. Such different personalities. They were worth everything in my opinion
The separation anciety is real! My cavapoo throws a fit if she can’t go eberywhere I go with me. Then she throws another fit if she has to ride in the backseat 🤣
Omg yes! I always come home to cook lunch for my KCC and to make sure she isn’t home along for more than a few hours. Well one day I came home and got called back into work quicker than usual. So I had to leave early and she started actually hyperventilating. Omg it broke my heart. Needless to say I stayed home to calm her back down. Sweetest little things.
I just watched your reasons to and not to get a CKC Spaniel. I think that's so important to show both. We have 8 year old brother and sister Blenheims. Our male has a heart murmur. They both have ear issues. And we love them dearly. Thank you.
I want to get one someday! Most likely when I start living on the road full time in a converted van. I figure then I would always be "home" and need a companion.
I commented on one of your first puppy videos that I was also going to be getting a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, and I did! 🤩 she is 5 months old now and the sweetest little Blenheim girl 🥰💖 I named her Cinnamon ☺️ anyway, random question: I LOVE Daisy’s pink collar and tag! Do you remember where you got it? Thanks! 🤗
Oh that's such good news! Sorry for the late reply, channel is getting busy these days :O But that's awesome I'm happy for you! Honestly I just got the collar and tag from my local pet store, you should be able to find something similar where you live. :D
For me I have prepared myself for all responsibilities to care for a cavalier including their health issues the only thing that stumps me is the price!! I make it crucial to look for cavaliers puppies In shelters or somewhere reasonable. Breeders rack up the prices for this dog and I think it’s worth it because this breed check all the marks for me, quiet, playful and ALWAYS LOVING. ALWAYS. do you know the name of your breeder? If I have to drive to the ends of the earth for a cavalier I do so!
You are so right about these little guysI have a King Charles spaniel named Lucy she eats🤦♀ those little frogs that come out at night LOL!! Now I walk her at night.
Hi Ryan. Cavaliers are so sweet and having heart problems wouldn't bother me as I have heart problems myself and I need to wear glasses so eye concerns are fine along with their hip and joint as my back is bad. Marie
@@TrickStarz Hi Ryan! I wanted to inform you a bit and I hope you don't think I am somehow being very rude to you. I am just very passionate about this breed and I want to inform people. It's very difficult and expensive (if you do everything right) to breed Cavaliers as they have so many health issues, and you didn't even mention some of these serious and common diseases like SM and CM. So I am assuming you are not a breeder and you are not very familiar with the health of this breed (but thank you for mentioning heart and eye problems, these are also common and serious). Prior to breeding, the parents have to be health tested - this is very important. A lot of test are actually compulsory - but a lot of people don't know about their neurological problems (like SM and CM) and don't do an MRI because MRI is not compulsory in a lot of countries and because MRIs are also very expensive. If people keep on breeding Cavaliers without MRI scanning the parents at the right age, and not doing all the other necessary health tests, then there is no hope for this breed to get better. I truly believe that only very knowledgeable and ethical breeders should breed Cavaliers. But if you are really interested in becoming a breeder who has taken breeder's courses and has read and learnt a lot about this breed, then that's another story. I would also recommend you find amazing breeders and talk to them about this process about becoming a breeder yourself.
Usually their brain presses down on their spine and causes paralysation and seizures. The brain doesn't fit in the skull. That'd be a reason for me nót to breed them or buy them.
I warn anyone that comes in the house he may lick the hair off of your legs. He pouts - yes pouts, if I have to leave him home alone for a time. A bit passive aggressive, but it doesn't take long for him to get over it.
Yes but you're talking to a wall here. All the people in the comments are fine with the healthrisks, because it's not their headache or paralysation, it's the dog's and they are willing to pay for the insurance. I think it'd be fair if the owners got the same headaches. I bet they'd get a different breed then.

Thats funny they sound super sweet! My boy is the relaxed one and Daisy is the little ball of energy lol.
Love our little girl Lyla. She is a dream. Brings so much love and joy.
They are the cutest in the world .. 🥰🥰🥰

The separation anciety is real! My cavapoo throws a fit if she can’t go eberywhere I go with me. Then she throws another fit if she has to ride in the backseat 🤣
Lol at this point they just expect to go with me every time I leave the hose!

My Saylor was the sweetest little girl! Once a Cavalier mom, always a Cavalier mom.

Oh that sounds like an awesome idea! You should get a camera and post your journeys on UA-cam!

The Cavi-Spaniel is a velcro dog most definitely.
Haha you got it! Cant keep them off of you lol.
@@TrickStarz I know right? I'd to cuddle with my little Shih-Tzu, but she only has about 10% affection for me. The other 90% goes to my dad.😂
How often do you brush their teeth?

Are you ever planning to breed your two dogs and have pups? Would love to see that process if you are! 🐶
Yes I'll be breeding them later this year! Im sure I will make many videos about it, well keep you posted ;)

FYI purebred means inbred with these types of dogs.
