    www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/d...
    As always, Dainese stays true to their proverbial north star with the latest iteration of the Racing D-Dry jacket. In combining sport fitment and waterproof functionality seamlessly, the Dainese Racing 3 D-Dry Jacket holds true to that which riders have come to expect from the Italian juggernaut for decades; style and premium quality. From the highly thought-out ventilation system that spans throughout the chest, back, and sleeves, to the removable thermal liner and waterproof D-Dry membrane, the Racing 3 textile jacket is equipped for all conditions. Additional features include aluminum caps at the shoulders, reflectivity, and removable composite protectors at the elbows and shoulders.

    Thanks for the review! I'm considering this jacket or the Laguna Seca 3 D-DRY. Which one should I go for? What are the main differences? Thank you!

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 роки тому +2

      Both are great options. If you are after some metal shoulder reinforcements go with the Racing 3, but if not the Laguna Seca 3 would be just fine while saving some coin. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at CS@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat

    Hey RevZilla, Why quote the wrong size that High Viz Brian is trying out in this video? Anthony says he's wearing a size Euro 52. But at 5:08 exact, the label displays Euro 50 !!

    Dainese Dinamica Air D-Dry Or Dainese Racing 3 D-Dry Jacket is the best for summer season/wet season? Thanks RevZilla!

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому +1

      I'd go with the Dinamica, because it has mesh for lots of ventilation in summer and the removable D-Dry liner for when it rains. The Racing 3 D-Dry is better for cool and wet weather. -DrewZilla

    How would this jacket pair with the travelguard gore tex pants as far as warmth, is the jacket heavier than the pants or vice versa?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 років тому +1

      Both the jacket and the pants are pretty similar for fabric weight, and both have removable thermal liners, so they pair really well together. -DrewZilla

    is there any issues with zipping these to different sizes of dianese pants. I have the new drake air pants in size 46, but my jacket size would be a 48 or 50. Would the zippers be the same length?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому

      There's no issue mixing sizes that are close together. There can be a slight difference in zipper length, but you can still connect them just fine. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla

      As listed on the product page, the thermoformed shoulders are covered in cowhide leather. Unfortunately, this jacket is not a vegan option. However, here are some leather-free waterproof options. -DrewZilla

    Hi! Is it warmer than tempest 2?
    Is it more comfortable than the hawker?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому +2

      The Tempest 2 is warmer, and to me, it's about the same as the Hawker for comfort. The waterproof layer is built-in, so it's slightly less bulky than the Hawker. -DrewZilla

    I know it an old video and product it’s just I found good price for this jacket
    but I don’t understand only is this jacket only waterproof inside? So it means that the outside will be soaked ? And inside dry?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  2 місяці тому

      Yeah, that's how most motorcycle jackets do it. The main goal is protecting you the rider from the water. Some jackets that are laminated or have an over-the-jacket WP liner will cover this for you though if interested.

    How warm ks it to wear in winter? Can i wear it in 0-5 degrees temperature range?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 роки тому +1

      It depends on your own temperature tolerance and how much wind protection your bike has (e.g. big fairing/windscreen). With a lot of wind protection, you might be able to wear it down to 5C or 0C. On a naked bike, the lower limit is probably 8C to 10C. -DrewZilla

    How would this compare to the Dainese Hawker D-Dry?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому +1

      This has a fixed waterproof liner, while the Hawker has a removable waterproof liner. The Hawker's thermal liner is a finished fleece jacket, while the Racing's removable thermal liner is only designed to be used in the jacket. It's not a standalone 'destination' liner. The Hawker also has larger vents. The Racing is slimmer overall, though, and has the metal shoulder accents. -DrewZilla

    So would you say that this isn’t a very good summer jacket? I want something thats waterproof but also can be worn in the summer

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 років тому

      Waterproof jackets in general aren't very good summer jackets, because you're limited in ventilation. You do have vents on the chest, back, and arms, but it's still limited I really recommend that you consider a mesh jacket for summer riding and just carry a compact rain shell to wear over the jacket when it does rain. Alternately, consider a mesh jacket with a removable waterproof liner. -DrewZilla

    Can anyone please let me know the matching trouser for this jacket?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому

      There isn't one specific pair of matching pants, but here are a few good options for pairing. All will zip together. If you don't need waterproof pants, then consider the New Drake Air Pants. The others have waterproof liners. -DrewZilla
